Thanks for your question! To adjust the touch screen sensitivity - follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, touch Menu
Touch Settings
Touch Touch Settings
Touch Calibration
Follow the onscreen directions to calibrate the handset.

If this does not fix the problem, please try doing a soft reset by turning off the phone, then remove the battery and put it back in and power on the phone again.

Why does my phones internet not work?

Everytime I try and use the internet on my phone, it freezes up and wont do anything and I end up having to pull the battery out. I had it reprogrammed but still didn't make a difference

Thank you for your correspondence. Regarding your concern, you may review the Missed calls log for the time and date of the call, as well as other information.

In Standby mode, touch Menu, Call Logs, then Missed. A list of your missed calls appears in the display.

Hi there!

Thank you for your inquiry! We appreciate your patience.

You need to set the usb settings to mass storage
Setting this option to USB Mass Storage allows connection to a PC in order to transfer media files to and from the device.
1.From the standby screen, touch Menu
2.Touch Settings
3.Touch Phone Settings
4.Touch PC Connection
5.Touch USB
6.Connect the compatible USB data cable to both the handset's Power/Accessory Connector and to a USB port on the PC
7.The handset will now display "USB Mass Storage"
8.Open Windows Explorer
9.Drag n drop or copy & paste the MP3 files to the handset
10.Once finished disconnect the USB cable from both the handset & PC

1. Remove the battery
2. Wait 2 minutes
3. Replace battery
4. Reboot phone

why does my phone restart when I try to play a video?

Anytime I try to play a video... or edit a photo, the phone shows the Samsung reboot and then the cricket boot starts and the phone goes to normal mode. Do I need to download a player?

Question

My phone won't turn on. What might be wrong with it? Messager Touch. Model # SCH-R360

My phone worked fine the morning of 6/27/11 when I took off the charger. About 2 in the afternoon my phone vibrated and when I took it out of my pocket, the screen was black and when i went to unlock the phone, the phone appeared to be off. So I went to turn it on, and nothing happened. I took the battery out for a few minutes, put it back in and tried again. It appeared to turn on like normal when i pressed the power button. The "Samsung" screen with the little blue bar that fills up appears, and the bar fills up. But then the phone seems to get stuck on that screen once the bar fills for about a minute, then the screen goes completely black and the little video loop that plays after the first screen does not play. The full keyboard stays lit up until you pull the battery. Any one have the same problem? Does it possibly have a virus? Messager Touch. Model # SCH-R360 P.S.: first picture is the screen right after the power button is pressed. The second picture is showing the blank screen right after the "Samsung" screen and, though may not be easily visible, the keyboard lit.

Try following the steps below:

After hooking up your phone to the computer, you will see the USB symbol in the "communicator line" (at the top of your display). pull this down by touching and sliding it down. select "USB connected", another window appears, select "Mount". You should now be able to view, move, access files on your phone and pc.

setting text message ringtones for individual contacts?

I set ringtones for my individual contacts, but whenever i get a text message from one of them the ringtone i have set for "all messages" plays. For incoming calls the specific ringtone plays, but for texts it doesn't. is there anyway to have ringtones set for a contact play when receiving a text?

Question

How do I transfer data between my Windows Vista pc and the Samsung R631 Messenger

I recently purchased a data cable to connect my pc with Vista to the Samsung R631 Messenger (Cricket) I plugged in the phone with the USB part of the cable to my USB and the other part to the phone charger jack. It was recognized and the drivers installed. The phone is on PC Connection USB Mass Storage. I don't have any protable storage that recognized anything from the phone. I am not using any memory card- just whatever is in the phones menory (pics)

In regards to your question, unfortunately there isn't a touch screen keyboard on the Messager Touch. Although, there is a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that is easy to use.

Can I Clear The WAP Browser Cache On My Cricket SCH-R560 (Messager II) Phone?

Yes, you can clear the information stored in the WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) browser cache, which is the phone’s temporary memory that stores the most recently accessed Web pages. You can also clear the browser's history or cookies as well.

To clear the WAP browser cache follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
Select Browser (5)
Select Go to Web (1)
Press the right soft key for Menu
Select Menu (2)
Select Clear Memory (0)
Highlight Cache, using the navigation keys, from the following:
Cache
History
Cookies
Auto Fill
Press the left soft key to check the Cache box
Highlight Clear, using the down navigation key, then press the OK key
Press the OK button for Yes to clear the WAP browser cache
Note: Please consult with your service provider for all inquiries regarding the Cricket's Internet feature on the Cricket SCH-R560 (Messager II) handset
