How do I set my voice mail to just a standard message when people call me and leave a message?

I don't want to have an active voicemail message with my name and active message? I've tried going into my voicemail options but I can't seem to find just the standard message for callers to hear.

Most issues may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.

If the phone has experienced damage or is out of warranty by date (it was purchased more than one year ago) the standard charge will likely apply for the repairs to your phone. Charges start at $65.00 and can increase, depending upon the nature and severity of the issue. We are only able to arrange payment for these repairs through credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

If you want to reset your phone, i will show the steps on how to do it. Please be reminded that once you reset your phone, your phone will be back to its factory default settings. And might delete all the contents on your phone memory.

Please follow the step:
-homescreen
-menu
-settings
-phone settings
-security
-reset settings

The phone will power cycle on its own after resetting.

Hi, your phone doesn’t need any device driver for you to transfer music to the phone. You just need to have a memory card inserted in your phone. Please follow the steps below:

You need to set the usb settings to mass storage
Setting this option to USB Mass Storage allows connection to a PC in order to transfer media files to and from the device.
1.From the standby screen, touch Menu
2.Touch Settings
3.Touch Phone Settings
4.Touch PC Connection
5.Touch USB
6.Connect the compatible USB data cable to both the handset's Power/Accessory Connector and to a USB port on the PC
7.The handset will now display "USB Mass Storage"
8.Open Windows Explorer
9.Drag n drop or copy & paste the MP3 files to the handset
10.Once finished disconnect the USB cable from both the handset & PC

MODEL SCH-R631

I wanted to know how I can transfer text messages to my computer. I tried forwarding them to my email although some text messages will not forward I get and error message stating that there are too many characters. So am I able to save the messages on to micro sd card and tranfer them to my computer? Also, am I going to have to download any software to enable my computer to read the sd card txt messages? Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you

Apparently, Samsung does not offer a Data package for purpose of transferring information between the Samsung Messager® Touch (SCH-r631) and a computer.

Also, upon checking the specifications and settings on the SCH-R631 handset, there are no configurable options available to transfer text messages to the microSD memory card inserted is the phone. We can only forward the text message to an email address.

You may also contact your service provider if they can provide you software for this kind of feature.

The internet setting of the phone was set on a mobile setting that was already configured on the phone itself. However the phone is capable of zooming while you’re on the camera application.

Hi there,

You assign pictures on your contacts as picture ID at the size from 1600x1200,
1280x960, 640x480, or 320x240. It will automatically convert the picture to be fit on the contacts ID.

Question

How do I transfer data between my Windows Vista pc and the Samsung R631 Messenger

I recently purchased a data cable to connect my pc with Vista to the Samsung R631 Messenger (Cricket) I plugged in the phone with the USB part of the cable to my USB and the other part to the phone charger jack. It was recognized and the drivers installed. The phone is on PC Connection USB Mass Storage. I don't have any protable storage that recognized anything from the phone. I am not using any memory card- just whatever is in the phones menory (pics)

setting text message ringtones for individual contacts?

I set ringtones for my individual contacts, but whenever i get a text message from one of them the ringtone i have set for "all messages" plays. For incoming calls the specific ringtone plays, but for texts it doesn't. is there anyway to have ringtones set for a contact play when receiving a text?

Can I replace the screen protector sticker that originally came with the phone?
