Greetings!
The internet setting of the phone was set on a mobile setting that was already configured on the phone itself. However the phone is capable of zooming while you’re on the camera application.

Ebuddy is not a pre-loaded application from the manufacturer which is Samsung. However, you may contact your service provider for more information regarding the Ebuddy application.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Music can be transferred to a PC by via a compatible USB data cable or copying music file to a memory card. You can use any of the methods below.

File Format Supported: MP3, AAC, WMA (Limited to Memory and up to 320kbps )

Via USB Cable

1. From the standby screen, touch Menu.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Phone Settings.
4. Touch PC Connection.
5. Touch USB.
6. Exit to standby screen and attach USB Cable.
7. Drag and drop or cut and past the files from the phone to the PC.

Via Memory Card

Memory Card Specifications:
Slot Type: microSD
Card Type: microSD, microSDHC
Format By Phone: Menu > Settings > Memory Managemer > Card Memory > Format Card
Max Storage Size: 16GB
Recommended Card Size: 16GB

To copy or move music to a microSD memory card follow the steps below:

1. Open the memory card socket cover, located on the upper right side of the handset.
2. Insert a microSD memory card, into the memory card socket, until locked in place.
3. Close the memory card socket cover.
4. From the home screen, touch Menu.
5. Touch Multimedia.
6. Touch Music/MP3.
7. Touch the Menu icon.
8. Touch Move and Select To Card.
9. Select more than one by touching the picture, or select Mark All.
10. Touch Done when finished.

The number of text messages that the phone can have would be limited to the phone's shared internal memory which is 100MB.

No, Galaxy S I500 battery charger with stand will not work with Samsung Messager Touch SCH-R631. The Galaxy S I500 battery charger with stand will only fit with standard 1500 mA battery (Galaxy S I500 battery) and not with Standard Battery 1000 mA (SCH-R631 battery).

when i turn on my cell phone and the blue line goes across the screen... it just continues to do that over and over

untill the battery runs down. it wont actually open to get any numbers off it or any thing... what can i do? what might be the problem? its only two or three months old? can u help?

You can go to your service provider so they can check on the phone and they can try reflashing the phone.

You may also call Samsung Customer Support, so we can do minimal troubleshooting to your phone. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.

Hi there,

You assign pictures on your contacts as picture ID at the size from 1600x1200,
1280x960, 640x480, or 320x240. It will automatically convert the picture to be fit on the contacts ID.

Here are the steps on how you can delete a contact.

1. From the standby screen, touch Contacts.
2. Touch Contact List.
3. Touch the Trash Can icon.
4. Touch each Contact to delete populating the checkbox with a check mark.
5. Touch Done to delete the Contact.

Note: Once you delete a contact from your Address Book, it will be permanently deleted.

Pictures and videos can be transferred to a PC by via a compatible USB data cable, sending a picture message or video message to an e-mail address, copying pictures or videos to a memory card or sending a picture or video via the Bluetooth FTP (File Transfer Profile).

Thank you for your inquiry. Regarding about your concern, you can choose recurrence of an event when you create a calendar.

To create calendar on the SCH-R631 handset:
1. From the home screen, touch Menu.
2. Touch Calendar.
3. Touch the desired date or Touch Menu icon and select Go To Date and enter the desired date.
4. Touch Add New Event.
5. Touch Event then enter the Event text and Touch Done.
6. Touch Start Time and enter the time for the event to begin and set AM or PM.
7. Touch End Date and enter the date for the event to end.
9. Touch End Time and enter the time for the event to end and set AM or PM.
10. Touch Recurrence and enter the time how often the Event takes place.
11. Touch Alert to set when a reminder will pop up for the Event.
12. Touch Ringtone then Touch the desired Ringtone.
13. Touch Reminder then Touch the desired Reminder setting and press Save.
14. Touch Save to add the Event to the Calendar.

Thank you for your inquiry. Regarding about concern, here are the steps on how you can transfer pictures saved on the SCH-R631 handset to the microSD memory card and to the computer.

To Transfer Pictures to the microSD memory card, ensure that a memory card has been inserted properly into the memory card slot before proceeding.
1. From the home screen, touch Menu.
2. Touch Multimedia.
3. Touch Pictures or Videos.
4. Touch the Menu icon.
5. Touch Move or Copy, and then choose To Card.
6. Select more than one by touching the picture, or select Mark All.
7. Touch Done when finished.

If the microSD memory card came from another phone and you could not saved any files on it. Try to format the microSD memory card using your phone so that the phone will recognize the microSD memory card inserted in it.

To format microSD memory card using the SCH-R631 handset:
1. Insert a microSD memory card into the memory card slot.
2. From the standby screen, touch Menu.
3. Touch Settings.
4. Touch Memory Manager.
5. Touch Card Memory.
6. Touch Format Card.
7. Touch Yes to confirm formatting the microSD memory card.
Note: This action will erase the SD card in the phone. You will lose all data on the card.

To transfer pictures saved on the microSD memory card inserted on the SCH-R631 handset to the computer:

1. From the standby screen, touch Menu.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Phone Settings.
4. Touch PC Connection.
5. Touch USB.
6. Return to the main display.
7. Connect one end of the supported data cable into the device's USB port and the other end into an available USB port on a Windows PC.
8. If prompted on the PC, select "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" from the Removable Disk pop-up. If not prompted, on the PC open My Computer and select the Removable Disk drive letter that was assigned to the device.
9. Drag and drop (copy & paste) picture and video files between the device and the PC. It is recommended that separate folders for different media types be created on the memory card for better organization.

Tip:
1. Make sure that the Bluetooth is deactivated on the phone.
2. If you still could not connect the phone to the computer. Try to turn off you phone or connect the USB cable to another USB port on your computer.
