Question
Can i use samsung software to sync contacts, music, or pictures to my Samsung Touch?
I can open the phones drive and add pictures and music. I would like to use the samsung software or a sync program to add or change info to my phone.

Thank you for your correspondence. Samsung software is not compatible to the phone. However, you can contact your service provider and check with them for compatible software for the phone.

The default passcode for the phone is the last 4 digit of the mobile phone number.
There is no way that we can retrieve the passcode that was set on the phone.
You can go to your service provider so they can try reflashing the phone or you can send in the phone to Samsung Repair center for reflash.

Are you using the same original battery and charger on the phone? Is there any physical damage? Has the phone been exposed to liquid?
Try to do a soft reset on the phone by powering it off and removing the battery then placing it back again to reboot the handset.

MP3 files can be transferred by USB Data Cable, Bluetooth, Memory Card or Downloaded from your service provider.
USB Cable
1.Set the PC connection setting to Mass Storage 2. From the standby screen, touch Menu 3.Touch Settings 4.Touch Phone Settings 5.Touch PC Connection 6.Touch USB 7.Connect the compatible USB data cable to both the handset's Power/Accessory Connector and to a USB port on the PC 8.The handset will now display "USB Mass Storage" 9.Open Windows Explorer 10.Drag n drop or copy & paste the MP3 files to the handset 11.Once finished disconnect the USB cable from both the handset & PC
Bluetooth
To transfer MP3 files From a PC, via a Bluetooth adaptor, to the Samsung phone follow the steps below:
On the Samsung phone
1.While in standby mode, turn Bluetooth On 2.Change the phone’s Bluetooth Visibility to On On the PC
1.Connect the Bluetooth adaptor to the PC’s USB port 2.Search for Bluetooth devices 3.Select the device to pair with the PC 4.Exchange PIN code(s) on both the PC & phone to pair devices (default pass code is “0000”) 5.Using Windows explorer, locate desired MP3 file 6.Right click on the MP3 file 7.Select send to Bluetooth then select the phone On the Samsung phone
1.Accept incoming data from the PC
To transfer MP3 files, from a PC via a memory card, requires that you have a Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader. In order to use this option, the microSD memory card must be formatted by the phone to create the necessary folders.
To transfer a MP3 file using a memory card follow the steps below:
On the PC
1.Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card adaptor 2.Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader 3.Connect the memory card reader to the PC’s USB port 4.Copy desired MP3 files from the PC hard drive 5.Paste the MP3 files into the microSD memory card's My_Music folder 6.Remove the microSD memory card from the memory card adaptor On the Samsung phone
1.Open the microSD cover, located on the lower left side of the handset 2.Insert the memory card (label side facing up and smaller end pointing toward the phone) into the memory card slot Caution: DO NOT force the card into the memory card slot, as this could damage the card and/or the handset 3.Gently press the memory card into the slot until the card locks into place 4.Replace the microSD cover 5.When correctly inserted, the memory card icon is shown at the top of the display

If you have formatted the memory card either on the computer (using a memory card reader/adapter) or on the phone, then it will delete all the media files that's been saved on the memory card.

Thank you for your inquiry. To copy or move images from/to a microSD memory card follow the steps below:
1. Open the memory card socket cover, located on the upper right side of the handset 2. Insert a microSD memory card, into the memory card socket, until locked in place 3. Close the memory card socket cover. 4. From the home screen, touch Menu 5. Touch Multimedia 6. Touch Pictures 7. Touch the Menu icon 8. Touch Move and Select To Card/ Move and Select From Card or To Phone 9. Select more than one by touching the picture, or select Mark All 10. Touch Done when finished

It's a camera function failur on the phone.

Sometimes after I send a text a red check mark appears on the envelope. Sometimes a vertical blue arrow appears in the right hand corner of the envelope. What do these mean?

I recently bought a used Samsung Messager Touch. Since I have had the phone, it periodically turns itself off while in use, especially when using the slide-out keyboard. In the middle of phone calls, text messages, or other functions, the phone's screen will turn black. No buttons (including the lock button) will reactivate the phone. In addition, the phone will not turn back on unless it is plugged into the phone charger, even when the phone's battery is completely charged. I have tried taking the battery out for a while, using the lock/unlock feature, attempted using the power button to turn the phone on/off, etc. with no success. Can you help me with this problem?

How do I remove the Pac-Man demo icon from my Menu2 tab?
I've deleted the Pac-Man demo through the Easy Edge application (using the remove option under Manage Apps), but the icon still remains on my Menu2 tab. I'd like to remove it, but I can't find a way to do it. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried to soft reset your phone after deleting the Pac-Man demo under Manage Apps?
Soft reset is removing the battery for about a minute on your phone and putting it back just for you to refresh the settings on the handset.

However, you may try using the listed steps below to connect but we cannot guarantee that it would work since these steps are for synchronizing your phone to a Windows supported computer.

Apparently, we do not have any available software or drivers that would enable you to connect the phone to the computer. However, you can set the phone to USB mode by going to Settings -> Phone Settings -> PC Connection -> USB. Please make sure that the memory card is properly inserted on the phone before connecting it to the computer.
Before connecting the phone to the computer, please try doing a soft reset by turning off the phone, then remove the battery and put it back in and power on the phone again. You may restart your computer as well. You may try to plug the cable into a different port available on the computer. You can also disable the firewall or antivirus programs on your computer before connecting the phone.

I have 2 SCH R630's on one of them if I use a Bluetooth headset, the internal earpiece won't work after the bluetooth is turned off until the phone is power cycled. The other R630 does not exhibit the same thing. I've checked the settings on both phones and they seem to be the same. Any ideas as to why the one unit won't function as needed after bluetooth disconnection?
