Pictures and videos can be transferred to a PC by via a compatible USB data cable, sending a picture message or video message to an e-mail address, copying pictures or videos to a memory card or sending a picture or video via the Bluetooth FTP (File Transfer Profile).

Thank you for your inquiry. You can transfer music files to your Samsung Messager Touch using any of the methods below.

USB Cable

1. Set the PC connection setting to Mass Storage.
2. From the standby screen, touch Menu.
3. Touch Settings.
4. Touch Phone Settings.
5. Touch PC Connection.
6. Touch USB.
7. Connect the compatible USB data cable to both the handset's Power/Accessory Connector and to a USB port on the PC.
8. The handset will now display "USB Mass Storage".
9. Open Windows Explorer.
10. Drag n drop or copy & paste the MP3 files to the handset.
11. Once finished disconnect the USB cable from both the handset & PC.

Via Memory Card

To transfer MP3 files, from a PC via a memory card, requires that you have a Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader. In order to use this option, the microSD memory card must be formatted by the phone to create the necessary folders.

To transfer a MP3 file using a memory card follow the steps below:
On the PC

1. Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card adaptor.
2. Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader.
3. Connect the memory card reader to the PC’s USB port.
4. Copy desired MP3 files from the PC hard drive.
5. Paste the MP3 files into the microSD memory card's My_Music folder.
6. Remove the microSD memory card from the memory card adaptor.

On the Samsung phone

1. Open the microSD cover, located on the lower left side of the handset.
2. Insert the memory card (label side facing up and smaller end pointing toward the phone) into the memory card slot.

Caution: DO NOT force the card into the memory card slot, as this could damage the card and/or the handset.
3. Gently press the memory card into the slot until the card locks into place.
4. Replace the microSD cover.
5. When correctly inserted, the memory card icon is shown at the top of the display.

Regarding about your concern, upon checking the specifications and settings on the SCH-R630 handset, there is no configurable option to change the order of the contact list by first name in alphabetical order. This is the default setting of the phone.

Try following the steps below:

After hooking up your phone to the computer, you will see the USB symbol in the "unnunciator line" (at the top of your display). pull this down by touching and sliding it down. select "USB connected", another window appears, select "Mount". you should now be able to view, move, access files on your phone and pc.

Thank your for your correspondence. You may create a past event in the calendar in your Samsung Messager Touch using the steps listed below. In addition, please check the reccurence of the alert set for the event.

To create a calendar event follow the steps below:

1. From the home screen, Touch Menu.
2. Touch Calendar.
3. Touch the desired date or Touch Menu icon and select Go To Date and enter the desired date.
4. Touch Add New Event.
5. Touch Event then enter the Event text and Touch Done.
6. Touch Start Time and enter the time for the event to begin and set AM or PM.
7. Touch End Date and enter the date for the event to end.
8. Touch End Time and enter the time for the event to end and set AM or PM.
9. Touch Recurrence and enter the how often the Event takes place.
10. Touch Alert to set when a reminder will pop up for the Event.
11. Touch Ringtone then Touch the desired Ringtone.
12. Touch Reminder then Touch the desired Reminder setting and press Save.
13. Touch Save to add the Event to the Calendar.
