The default passcode for the phone is the last 4 digit of the mobile phone number.

There is no way that we can retrieve the passcode that was set on the phone.

You can go to your service provider so they can try reflashing the phone or you can send in the phone to Samsung Repair center for reflash.

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

Thank you for your inquiry. As I have checked the specification of the phone, there is no configurable option on the device that would allow you to set a calendar event monthly. The options that would be available for your calendar event would only be for MONTHLY - that would allow you to go back to the calendar screen, ERASE-to remove the event from the calendar, and ERASE ALL - to erase all events from the calendar. Thank you for choosing Samsung.

Sincerely,

Question

I started receiving text that will not delete. How can I remove them?

This began last Monday. I have taken it to the Alltel store. (They (Alltel) have started seeing this but can not remove them). I have tried to remove the battery and restart. This does not work either. Warrenty went out last month and this is very unfair to have to put up with this. How can it be fixed?

Hi there,

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If your service provider already re-flashed your phone and it's still not working, you may have to update your Preferred Roaming list (PRL) in order to synchronize to the nearest network tower on your location. If you've already update your PRL and still doing the same thing, it is possible that the nearest network tower on your location is updating their system. You may call up your service provider toll free number for checking the status of the network tower and updating your phone's PRL. If the network tower is up and running perfectly, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

At your earliest convenience, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Hi gman22isbomb!

Thank you for your inquiry.

You may try doing the soft reset on the phone by taking out the battery for at least 10-15 seconds and then double check if the micro SD card is properly inserted into the memory card slot. After that, put the battery back in and evaluate it. If it's still not working and still doing the same thing, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

We do not have any software for the SCH-R600. You may contact your service provider and ask them for a software that you can use for the phone.

The SCH-R600 (Hue II) handset features different methods to transfer pictures from the handset to a PC.

- Via USB Cable
- Via memory card
- Via MMS message
- Via Bluetooth

WARNING: Do NOT disconnect the USB cable from the PC or handset during file transfer

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Via USB Cable

USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a type of plug-in connection that is used to connect devices, including some handsets, to desktop or laptop PC's. In a handset, USB is useful for quickly transferring files to and/or from phones, or for synchronizing information with a PC application.

The Alltel SCH-R600 (Hue II) handset has the capability to transfer files directly from a PC to a memory card, residing in the handset, using a compatible USB cable. There is a PC Connection setting required for transferring files.

To access the PC Connection setting follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, press the Menu/OK button for Menu
Select Settings (8)
Select Phone Settings (5)
Select PC Connection (8)
Highlight the desired PC Connection setting from the following:
USB Mass Storage, Use the handset memory (internal and external) as a USB disk drive
USB Modem, Use the handset as a wireless modem via a USB connection
Press the Menu/OK button to save the PC Connection setting
Close the phone
Attach the data cable to the phone and PC

The LCD will now display "Connected to PC" or display an icon
When the new Removable Disk box appears on the PC, double click on "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer"

Navigate to the picture(s) location
Copy & paste or drag n drop the picture(s) to the desired destination on the PC

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Via Memory Card

To transfer pictures (via a memory card), from the SCH-R600 (Hue II) handset, to a PC requires a microSD Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader. The microSD memory card must first be formatted, by the handset, in order for the handset to create the destination folders.

WARNING: Formatting the microSD Memory Card will permanently erase all data

To transfer pictures (via a memory card), from the SCH-R600 (Hue II) handset, to a PC follow the steps below:

Remove the memory card slot cover
Insert a microSD memory card, gold contacts down, into the memory card slot, located on the right side of the device, until it locks in place

My phone (Hueii r600) has been replaced and I would like to get the photos on my computer. I purchased a usb cable, but it did not include a driver.

Is there a driver available so that my computer will recognize the phone? Thank you

Hi QuintG!

Thank you for your inquiry.

If you want to transfer files from the phone to the computer or vice versa, please refer to the steps and procedures provided below.
