Why Can't I Access The Internet On My Phone While Roaming

I Live in North Carolina but I have a nationwide plan on my cell phone, whenever i go over state lines my phone switches to roaming mode & it wont let me access the internet. It says Intemal Error In Gateway, I don't know what that means. My lasst cell phone let me access the internet everywhere I went, I've only had this phone about 2 months, I like it otherwise But this is VERY frustrating & no one has been able to figure out what the problem is. Please help me figure out what is wrong so it can be fixed. Thank You, Jessica

Question

I need a cover for my Samsung Profile SCH-R580

It is slippery (I got it 3 weeks ago) and I cannot find a cover anywhere in stores or online. Where can I get a rubber, non slip cover that will cover the sides but not the front of the phone? Please give me a phone number to CALL, I am very frustrated with trying online.

Yes, to set an audible alert for Voice Mails, Text Messages or Picture Messages follow the steps below:

While in standby mode, press the Menu/OK button for Menu
Select Settings (9)
Select Sound Settings (3)
Select Ringer Type (2)
Select Messages (2)
Select Text Message (1)
Highlight desired Ringtone, using the navigation keys
Press the OK button to set the Ringtone as the audible Text Message alert
Select Picture Message (2)
Highlight desired Ringtone, using the navigation keys
Press the OK button to set the Ringtone as the audible Picture Message alert
Select Voicemail (3)
Highlight desired Ringtone, using the navigation keys

Question

Bluetooth compatability with my car

I have a 2012 Audi A4. I had sucessfully used my old (OLD) phone with this car. Just purchased a Samsung Profile. I can set the phone and car up to recognize each other but the connection will drop without notice -- in my 12 minute drive into work for example it will drop three or four times. It will not even try to reconnect by itself, my passenger has to go back into the phones tools menu and manually reconnect it.

The phone book has NEVER been accessible via the car's interface. The recent call list will be available if I remove the car's bluetooth profile and re-create it from scratch.

Is there any hope, or do I return the phone?

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

how do I get out of Nam 2 mode?

I was messing with my new phone and saw this option of nam1 and nam2 I was on Nam1 so I chose Nam2 instantly my phone reset and now it says "enter code" and I tried my code but it did not work nor 0000 what can I do?

Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software package, for the purpose of transferring data between the handset and a personal computer or for using a US Cellular handset as a modem for a personal computer. However, depending on the model, there may be a media card slot located on the side of handset or in the battery compartment that allows information to be transferred to a personal computer with the use of a media card reader. For information on selecting the correct media card reader, please visit the Samsung Accessory website or check with a local computer store to purchase a media card reader compatible with both your computer and the media card type.

Please refer to the steps below.

To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Mode follow one of the two methods below:

Method 1

To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Mode, hold down the pound key (#) for about 2 seconds. To exit Silent / Vibrate Mode, perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Mode. You will see a confirmation message for Silent / Vibrate Mode, each time you enter or exit Silent / Vibrate Mode.
The US Cellular SCH-R580 (Profile) handset will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent Mode.
Method 2

While in standby mode, press the volume key, located on the left side of the handset, then select either “Vibrate" or Silence All”. To disable silent / vibrate mode, perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Mode.
The US Cellular SCH-R580 (Profile) handset will vibrate, if enabled, rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent / Vibrate Mode.

How do you clear memory on this phone?

I bought a micro SD card and loaded it. Phone recognizes and loads pics onto it. However, when I try to send or forward, it says memory full, even though there is nothing stored on phone memory now. No images, no videos. Please help, I am in the real estate business and use this feature all the time. Alex
