Hi, BillCFoster!

You can download picture files to your computer via mass storage using a USB cable. Here are the steps below that you can follow:

To format a memory card follow the steps below:

• Insert the memory card into the handset
• From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
• Select Settings (9)
• Select Memory Info (6)
• Select Card Memory (3)
• Select Format Card (7)
• Press the left soft key for Yes to confirm Formatting the Memory Card
Caution! Do not repeatedly format a Memory Card as this shortens it's service life

2. Verify the handset PC Connection setting is set to USB Mass Storage

To configure the handset's USB setting follow the steps below:

• From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
• Select Settings (9)
• Select Phone Settings (5)
• Select PC Connection (8)
• Highlight either Mass Storage or No Connection
• Press the OK button to save the USB Setting

3. Plug the USB data cable into both the phone and PC
4. When the New Removable Disk appears on the PC display choose to "open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" or manually open it
5. Either copy pictures from the phone's My Images folder or from the PC destination
6. Paste the pictures into the PC destination or the phone's My Images folder

Thank you for your inquiry.

Most issues may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.

If the phone has experienced damage or is out of warranty by date (it was purchased more than one year ago) the standard charge will likely apply for the repairs to your phone. Charges start at $65.00 and can increase, depending upon the nature and severity of the issue. We are only able to arrange payment for these repairs through credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

Thank you for choosing Samsung.

The reason why you cannot reset the time is because the network automatically update the time on the phone. The phone will receive an automatic update of the time and date directly from your service provider’s network, while inside the Service Area. If you roam outside of the service area, or turn on the handset in an analog roaming area, you will need to set the time manually.

Note: Automatic updates of time and date do not change the time you have set for alarm settings or calendar memos. Changes may not take effect until the handset is power cycled (turned off then turned on again).

Hi there,

If you want to unlock your phone and want to use a different SIM card or want to change a different service provider, you may call up first your original service provider for further assistance.

If the phone is locked and asking for a password, you may try using the four zeros (0000) of eight zeros (00000000). And if these default code doesn’t work, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

At your earliest convenience, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Hi there!

Apparently, we do not have any available software nor drivers that you would be needing for you to connect the phone to the computer.

If you are going to transfer media files from your SCH-R560 handset to the computer, you may do mass storage so you could transfer them to the computer. For you to connect the phone to the computer, it would require you to have the memory card inside the phone and a USB data cable, once you already have the requirements, follow the procedures on the links below:

For pictures and videos:

For music files and ringtones:

Yes you can transfer your photos to your pc, there are 2 simple ways:

1. conect your phone to the pc via usb and open it as a storage device.

2. copy or move the photo from the internal memory to an sd micro card and then tranfer to pc from the sd micro.

You can get both the cable and the memory card in any electronic related sores.

Hope this helped.

couple different ways you can do this. one, you could use the usb cable that connects the phone to the computer along with the windows explorer to search the phone. two, IF your computer has bluetooth hardware installed, you could simply bluetooth it over (however, this can be time consuming), or three, you can make sure you save all your pics to the mini-sd chip that you can place into the phone, and using an sd-chip adapter (most mini's come with an adapter), just pop it into your media card reader and boom read it like a regular disc! hope that helps!
