Hi chic!

Thank you for your inquiry. Are you referring on the voicemail greeting or the startup greeting message? If you are referring on the voicemail greetings you need to call your service provider to change the voicemail greeting. If you wish to change the startup greetings on your phone there are no configurable options available to change the startup greeting on the SCH-R430 handset display.

Question

Why do I get the message "no registered devices" when I try to send a picture via bluetooth

On the suggestion of a Samsung technical support person, I bought a BlueTooth enabler so I could download pictures from my SCH-R430 cell phone to my computer. I got a message that the two devices were successfully paired, but when I click on a picture, and then click "Send, via Bluetooth" I get the mssage "no registered devices". How can I fix this so I can send my pictures? Thanks!

Hi there!

Thank you for your inquiry. Configuring the number of rings before a call goes to voicemail is something which is configured by the Service Provider by editing your account with them. This is not a setting which can be configured on the phone itself as it is part of the network services by your provider. To adjust the Ring Count, we recommend contacting the Service Provider for assistance with this issue.

Hi herickson!

Thank you for your inquiry.

Regarding about your concern, Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software/driver for you to connect the Samsung MyShot™ Cell Phone (SCH-R430) to the computer to transfer files.

Also, upon checking the specifications and settings on the SCH-R430 handset, the phone does not have the ability to communicate with the computer to transfer information.

However, if you want to transfer pictures from your phone to computer, you can send the picture to an e-mail address. Please follow the steps below on how you can send a picture on SCH-R430 handset.

1. While in standby mode, press the OK button for Menu.
2. Select Messages.
3. Select Send Message.
4. Select Picture Message.
5. Enter the email address, using the keypad, or press the right soft key for Add from contacts.
6. Press the OK button to Send the Picture Message to recipient(s).

Tip: You can send a Picture Message to up to ten recipients.

Note: Please contact your network provider to have the configuration settings for the phone so that you can send picture to an e-mail address.

Again, we thank you for comments and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Hi there

Thanks for your inquiry!

1. Locate a MyShot USB connector cable. This cable is not bundled with the phone, but you should be able to purchase one from your mobile provider or from an electronics store. You may also try calling a Samsung Accessory Specialist at 1-800-757-0280.

2. Connect the small end of the connector cable to the power input port on the phone. This port is located on the left side of the phone, underneath the camera key.

3. Connect the rectangular-shaped part of the cord to your computer's USB port. Some drivers will be downloaded automatically to ensure compatibility. You will now be able to access your photos from the camera on your computer.
