Hi there!

Here are the steps how to disable the message alert reminder on the phone:

1. While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Settings
2. Select Sound Settings (3)
3. Select Ringer Type (2)
4. Select Messages (2)
5. Select Msg Reminder (4)
6. Highlight either On or Off, using the navigation keys
7. Press the Menu / OK key to enable or disable the Message Alert Reminder

Greetings!
Upon checking the phone’s information, here are the steps on how to change your ringtone from vibrating to normal profile:

1. From the Multimedia menu, select My Ringtones. A list of ringtones appears in the display.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight a particular ringtone.
• Press to PLAY the ringtone.
• Press Options ( ) to show the file name and file type.
3. Press Set As ( ) to assign the highlighted ringtone. The following options appear in the display:
• Ringtone — Lets you assign the selected ringtone to incoming voice calls.
Highlight an option, then press ok button .
4. When using a downloaded ringtone, press Options ( ) and the following options appear in the display:
• Ringtone Info — Displays information about the selected file, such as the file name, the file type, and the data size.
• Get New Ringtones — Launches the Browser so that you can download ringtones.
Use the Navigation key to highlight an option, then press
5. Press to return to the previous menu, or press to return to standby mode.

Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software package, for the purpose of transferring data between the handset and a personal computer. Using MMS text messaging, it is possible to send pictures to any e-mail address. Please consult with your service provider for information regarding compatible service plans and/or any additional fees that may be incurred.

Hi!

To pair the Cricket SCH-R430 (MyShot) handset with a Bluetooth Device, follow the steps below:

Place the Bluetooth device in discoverable mode
While in standby mode, press the MENU/OK key for Menu
Select Tools/Utilities
Select Bluetooth
Select Add New Device
Press the left soft key for Yes to turn Bluetooth On
Press the MENU/OK key on the “Place device to connect to in discoverable mode” prompt to search for devices
Highlight the desired Bluetooth Device, using the navigation keys, and press the MENU/OK key to Pair the devices
Enter Passkey "0000" then press the MENU/OK key, the handset will display a brief message stating pairing followed by connecting
Press the left soft key for Yes to Connect the devices
After successful connection you will return to the Bluetooth menu

Most issues like this may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once roubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the handset, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

Thank you for your inquiry. Please try to use the default pass code to pair your phone via bluetooth. Default pass code is 0000 or you may try 1234.

Please try to do a soft reset on the phone, just by taking off the battery and putting it back. Turn the phone on for a powercycle. If it still wont ring, try to press on the # sign for a few seconds.

My phone is locked. Don't know code.

The phone is in lock mode. Tried last four of cell number - not code. Called Verizon and they could not help. Took to verizon store and they could not help. We are not aware of setting any lock code ourselves.

Thank you for your inquiry. Configuring the number of rings before a call goes to voicemail is something which is configured by the Service Provider by editing your account with them. This is not a setting which can be configured on the phone itself as it is part of the network services by your provider. To adjust the Ring Count, we recommend contacting the Service Provider for assistance with this issue.

Regarding about your concern, Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software/driver for you to connect the Samsung MyShot™ Cell Phone (SCH-R430) to the computer to transfer files.

Also, upon checking the specifications and settings on the SCH-R430 handset, the phone does not have the ability to communicate with the computer to transfer information.

However, if you want to transfer pictures from your phone to computer, you can send the picture to an e-mail address. Please follow the steps below on how you can send a picture on SCH-R430 handset.

1. While in standby mode, press the OK button for Menu.
2. Select Messages.
3. Select Send Message.
4. Select Picture Message.
5. Enter the email address, using the keypad, or press the right soft key for Add from contacts.
6. Press the OK button to Send the Picture Message to recipient(s).

Tip: You can send a Picture Message to up to ten recipients.

Note: Please contact your network provider to have the configuration settings for the phone so that you can send picture to an e-mail address.
