Question
I have a Samsung SCH-R420 cell phone
The audio output is not working. Persons on the other end of my calls cannot hear me. speaking into the mic I've tried on/off speaker with same results. I'm wondering if some settings could have been accidently changed as this problem just started earlier today without incident to the phone itself.

Hi elucent1!
Thank you for your correspondence.
Regarding about your concern, unfortunately, Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software package, for the purpose of transferring data between the Samsung Tint™ Cell Phone (SCH-R420) and a personal computer.
However, you can transfer pictures from the SCH-R420 to your computer through picture messaging and send it to an e-mail address. You may also send it via Bluetooth. Please refer on the link below on how you can transfer pictures from your phone to the computer.
Regarding your concern, what we can offer as passcode for the phone is the last 4 digits of the mobile number. If these codes will not work, then you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.
At your earliest convenience, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.
Thank you for your continued interest in Samsung products.
