Hi BoeingMarine,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Should you desire additional assistance regarding this, we invite you to call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357 between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Question

How can I tag multiple photos on the phone and copy to the MicroSD?

I had the card out and took many pictures. I do not wish to copy each one 1 by 1 onto the card using the phone keypad. I would like to tag and copy many files at once onto the card or from the phone directly onto my laptop using the USB cable. I also would like to have a software driver for the phone which allows me to see the data files on the phone besides the files on the MicroSD card. I am using Windows Vista and Windows XP. I also have an iMac. Can I view and tag and copy multiple files on the Freeform III using the USB cord? Thank you.

Question

I cannot access the store or emails on my phone?

I got the Samsung Freeform III and I cannot access emails or the company store on my phone. Is there some sort of reset that I need to do to get it programed? It tells me "Sorry unable to connect to the store. Please check connection and try again." I have reset my phone and do not have any luck. I also cannot view or send picture messages with my phone.

Question

Why does my display still read "Initial Programming Needed", and how do I fix it?

Already activated phone and paid first bill. I don't understand, cannot make or receive any calls and I am guessing it is this programming issue. Can you help?
