How can I get my phone to ring again?

My phone will not ring when i get a call, nor will it vibrate. I have factory reset it but it still will not work. Is there anyother reset i can try, that will reset EVERYTHING, completely.

How can I connect my cell phone to my PC

I have Win XP SP3 - It does not find the software to run the Samsung Freeform III SCH-R380 like a flash drive.
Do you have a software download I can load (a driver)?

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Video Player

OK, I heard alot of things about this phone, So I decided to do so without reading more about this phone. After I received this phone I do agree its a great phone. But one thing is missing! Can you please make a video player download for this phone. If if it had a video player it would be a even better phone. There no point of using this phone to search the web if you can't watch videos, plus its take away some of the phone being it dosen't have a video player.So please make a download for this. Thanks

My Samsung Freedom 3 will not turn off and stay off?

I have taken out the battery for 5 minutes, replaced it, it turns on but will not shut off.
I hold the on/off button and it powers down but it power's right back up again.

Question

What do I do if my phone does not allow me to put any volume

When I try to select " master volume" it does not bring up the next screen and when I try to raise the volume with the side clicker, nothing happens. Ive tried restarting my phone multiple times, even took then battery out and hours and let it sit.

To transfer MP3 files to a PC, follow the steps below:

Confirm that a microSD™ or microSDHC™ Memory Card is inserted in your mobile device.

In Standby mode, press the Menu button > Settings > Phone Settings > PC Connection.
Select USB, then press SET.
Connect the USB cable to both the mobile device and the PC. A new "Removable Disk" window should open on your computer screen.
Select the Open folder to view files option. A new Windows® Explorer window should open on your computer screen.
Open a second Windows Explorer window and navigate to the location of the MP3 files, then drag and drop them into either the My_Music or My_Ringtones folder.
On your mobile device, press DISCONNECT.
Select Yes, then press OK
Now it is safe to unplug the USB cable from both the mobile device and PC.
