Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you would like to know how to directly put songs on your music player when you are sending songs via Bluetooth on your phone, SCH-R355.

The hardware of the phone is manufactured by Samsung but the software and the programming of the device is solely incorporated and configured by your carrier. With this, your carrier has formed their own support group to assist you with your inquiries.

This is something that would be best addressed by your Service Provider. Please contact your Service Provider’s Customer Service Department for the resolution of this matter.

Can the music player background color be changed --or-- can the music player fonts be made larger?

The medium purple color is not dark enough to make the tiny fonts readable. The manual has no information about this, only the main display wallpaper.

what do I need to do to get the microsd card to show up on my computer with a usb cable?

I have installed a 8gb microsd card in the phone but when I connect the phone to my computer with a usb cable it doesn't show as a usb mass storage device. I have checked off in the phone settings the mass storage box, not the no connection box.

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Question

SCH-R355C Phone wont start up

It was on the charger then beebed like it was unpluged. It was not unpluged. Then beebed like it was being pluged in. Did that about 8 or 10 times. Then said low battery then shut down.

Transferring music from pc

I have followed the instructions to transfer music to my phone but when I'm done, there is no music on the phone. Yet when I check the F drive it shows the music is on the phone. What am I doing wrong. I've tried the drag and drop and automatic sync with Windows media player.
