If you're referring on how to connect the phone via Bluetooth and for the process of transferring data on your computer, please see the following instructions.

To pair the TracFone SCH-R355C handset with a Bluetooth Device follow the steps below:

1. Place the Bluetooth device in discoverable mode
2. While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
3. Select Tools (8)
4. Select Bluetooth (1)
5. Select Registered List (1)
6. Press OK to Add New Device
7. Press the left soft key for Yes to turn Bluetooth On
8. Press the OK key on the “Place device you are connecting to in discoverable mode” prompt to search for devices
9. Highlight the desired Bluetooth Device, using the navigation keys, and press the OK key to Pair the devices
10. Enter Passkey "0000" and press OK key, the handset will display a brief message stating pairing
11. Using the navigation keys, select the Bluetooth device, and press the OK button

Note: If you are pairing and connecting to another phone or to a personal computer, both devices prompt for a passkey or PIN. To successfully pair and connect your phone with the other device, the same passkey or PIN must be entered on both devices.

*The first time you try to pair with another handset, you and the owner of the other handset must enter the same PIN. Once the handsets are paired, you will not need to use the PIN again.

to transfer files Via Bluetooth:

Note: Both devices must support the FTP (File Transfer Profile) in order to use ths method

**On the Samsung handset**

1. Turn Bluetooth On
2. Set the phone’s Bluetooth visibility to On

**On the phone with files**

3. While in standby mode, activate Bluetooth by turning it On.
4. Search for new Bluetooth devices.
5. Highlight the SCH-R355C phone name, using the navigation keys.
6. Exchange the PIN Codes on both devices to pair the phones (the default code is “0000”).
7. Browse for the desired file(s).
8. Transfer data from phone to phone

**On the Samsung handset**

9. Accept exchanging data

There's no configurable option for you to have your phone ring and vibrate at the same time. And also, the tone for text messages would be for the time that you have receive it and i may not continue up to the time that you're going to read an incoming message. These things would be limitations of the phone's software.

After turning off the auto-delete of outbox on your handset, you may try doing the soft reset on the phone by taking out the battery for at least 10-15 seconds and then put the battery back in and evaluate it. By this, the phone will refresh its programming. If it's still not working and still doing the same thing, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

The SCH-R355C handset features different methods to transfer MP3 files to the handset. One of which is via memory card. To transfer MP3 files (via a memory card), from a computer, to the handset requires having a Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader. The memory card must first be formatted, by the handset, in order for the handset to create the playable download folders.

To transfer MP3 files (via a memory card), from a computer, follow the steps below.

1. Insert the formatted memory card into the memory card adaptor.
2. Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader.
3. Connect the memory card reader to the PC’s USB port.
4. You will see a new Removable Disk drive appear, this would be the memory card, or open Windows Explorer.
5. Copy the MP3 files then paste them in the memory card's My_Music or My_Ringtones folder.
6. Insert the memory card into the handset's memory card slot.

First off, I want you to try a soft reset. Power down the phone, remove the battery for 1-2 minutes, and then re-insert, power up. Should that not work, please read the following:

While the TracFone SCH-R355C handset does not have a configurable POP3 or IMAP4 application, via it's Mobile Web service there is a Mobile Email feature available. This feature provides, with certain E-Mail services, the opportunity to receive "new mail" alerts with shortcut access to your Inbox to read, delete, and respond to your e-mail as if you were on your PC.

For further assistance with the use of this wireless service please contact your service provider.

To access the E-Mail from your Browser, follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, press the right softkey for Browser
Select Email and Networking
Select from the following Email options:
Hotmail
Yahoo! Mail
Gmail
Using navigation keys, login by entering Username and Password and select Sign in
