The owner's manuals says:

Your phone notifies you of a call in the following ways: ...
• A phone number (unless blocked by the caller) and a name appear in the display, if the
caller’s number and name are stored in your Contacts list.
• If the caller can’t be identified, Call from unavailable#, Call from restricted number, or
no number appears in the display.

Not sure this helps you much, but it is what the manual says.

USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a type of plug-in connection that is used to connect devices, including some handsets, to desktop or laptop PC's. In a handset, USB is useful for quickly transferring files to and from phones.

The SCH-R355C handset has the capability to transfer files directly between a PC and a memory card (residing within the handset) with a compatible USB data cable.

Insert a memory card into the memory card slot
Verify the handset PC Connection setting is set to USB Mass Storage
From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
Select Settings (9)
Select Phone Settings (5)
Select PC Connection (7)
Highlight either USB Mass Storage or No Connection
Press the OK button to save the USB Setting
Plug the USB data cable into both the phone and PC
When the New Removable Disk appears on the PC display choose to "open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" or manually open it
Drag and drop or cut and paste the files from the phone to the PC

If connection is unsuccessful, kindly try to check the following....

> Try using a different USB port (if using a desktop PC, please try to connect the USB data cable at the back port of the CPU)
> Restart the PC and soft reset the phone (turn off and remove the battery for about a minute and put it back in the phone and turn it on again)
> Make sure that the USB cable is samsung genuine accessory
> Try using a different USB cable
> Try to check the removable storage through the "My Computer"
> Disable or turn off the bluetooth connection of the phone

The TracFone SCH-R355C handset does not have a configurable POP3 or IMAP4 application, via it's Mobile Web service there is a Mobile Email feature available. This feature provides, with certain E-Mail services, the opportunity to receive "new mail" alerts with shortcut access to your Inbox to read, delete, and respond to your e-mail as if you were on your PC.

For further assistance with the use of this wireless service please contact your service provider.

To access the E-Mail from your Browser, follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, press the right softkey for Browser
Select Email and Networking
Select from the following Email options:
> Hotmail
> Yahoo! Mail

Hi!

Thank you for your inquiry. I have here the link for the manual of your Samsung handset. However, your concern is a network dependent issue that can only be resolved by contacting your service provider. You may ask them to if they can change the Text Messaging setting to EMS from SMS to extend the limit of text message that you can send/receive.

Hello there,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Regarding to your concern about the 3 way calling or conference call, I have here the steps for you to use that feature o your handset. Just follow the steps below on how you can make a successful conference call or 3 way call.

To Make a Conference Call, between yourself and two other callers, on the handset follow the steps below:

1. While in standby mode, dial the number for the first party, then press SEND
2. When connected, ask them to remain on the line.
3. Press the SEND key to place them on hold.
4. Dial the second party’s phone number and press SEND.
5. When the second party answers, press SEND to connect all three parties.

Note: As the originator of the conference call, should you disconnect, the other two parties will also be disconnected. If one of the individuals should disconnect, you will still be connected to the other.

Note: For handsets which support more than 3 individuals on one call, repeat steps 1 through 5 until all parties are connected.

For more information on 3 Way Calling and Conference Calling see your service provider.

Hi there!

Thank you for your inquiry. Although the SCH-R355C features a built-in camera, there are no configurable options available to record or playback videos.

As of the moment, there is no available driver you need to download on the SCH-R355 handset so that you can make or receive videos.

You may download an application on the phone using your favorite search engine on your computer that is compatible with the SCH-R355. However, we do not support the use of 3rd party applications and services with any of our devices. For this reason, we do not have information compiled on possible resources. If you are having issues with the use of a specific 3rd party application or service, we recommend contacting the manufacturer of that application or service for compatibility and support assistance.
