On our end, there are no configurable options to enable java script on your Samsung SCH-R355 handset. However, if you’re trying to download games or other applications on the phone, you may try to contact your Service provider if they have an available service that can be download on the phone.

Good day.
Since the Samsung SCH-r355 phone does not have a SIM card slot, because that would be the easiest way to transfer contacts from one phone to another. You will also need to transfer all your contacts manually to your phone # 2. If you don’t like that option, you may check on your phone if the configuration to send contact via Bluetooth is available. If it is available, you may pair the two phones via Bluetooth and on your phone #1, you need to select a contact and then select send name card via Bluetooth. Sending contacts via Bluetooth is done one at a time.

Hi, Are you trying to connect your phone to your computer to download pictures, videos & music? Well, I can show you several methods on how it is done.
The SCH-R355C features several different methods to transfer pictures to and/or from a PC.
Via USB Cable
To transfer pictures between the phone and a PC follow the steps below:
Insert a formatted memory card into the memory card slot
Verify the handset PC Connection setting is set to USB Mass Storage
Plug the USB data cable into both the phone and PC
When the New Removable Disk appears on the PC display choose to "open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" or manually open it
Either copy pictures from the phone's My_Images folder or from the PC destination to the clipboard
Paste the pictures into the PC destination or the phone's My_Images folder
To a PC Via Memory Card
To transfer pictures (via a memory card) to a PC requires a microSD Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader. The microSD memory card MUST first be formatted, by the handset, in order for the handset to create the destination folders.
Important: Please note that the minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB. This phone does support the use of a microSDHC 16GB capacity memory card.
Warning: Formatting a memory card will permanently delete all current content.
To transfer pictures (via a memory card), from the SCH-R355C handset, to a PC follow the steps below:
Insert a formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
Select My Folder (6)
Select My Images (5)
Highlight the desired image
Press the right soft key for Options
Select either Move (4) or Copy (5)
Press the left soft key for Yes to confirm moving or copying the image to the memory card
Remove the microSD memory card from the memory card slot
Replace the memory card cover
Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card adaptor
Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader
Insert the memory card reader into the USB slot on the PC
Navigate to the Photo destination, using Windows Explorer
Drag and drop or copy & paste the Photo(s) into the desired destination on the PC
Note: Locked images cannot be copied or moved to a memory card
From a PC Via Memory Card
Insert a formatted memory card into the memory card adaptor
Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader
Connect the memory card reader to the PC’s USB port
You will see a new Removable Disk drive appear, this would be the memory card
Copy the files then paste them in the My_Images memory card folder
Insert the memory card into the SCH-R355C memory card slot
Via Bluetooth
Note: Both devices must support the FTP (File Transfer Profile) in order to use ths method
On the Samsung handset
Turn Bluetooth On
Set the phone’s Bluetooth visibility to On
On the phone with Pictures
While in standby mode, activate Bluetooth by turning it On
Search for new Bluetooth devices
Highlight the SCH-R355C phone name, using the navigation keys
Exchange the PIN Codes on both devices to pair the phones (the default code is “0000”)
Browse for the desired file(s)
Transfer data from phone to phone
On the Samsung handset
Accept exchanging data
The procedure above is the same as with transferring music, all you need to do is to find the location of your music.

Hi, Samsung doesn’t provide software for you to access contacts, calendar, etc. through USB cable or Bluetooth and the phone doesn’t support syncing. However, you can send your contacts and calendars to a compatible device via bluetooth since your phone has an Object Push Profile (OPP is used for sending "objects" such as images, virtual business cards, or appointment details. It is called push because the transfers are always initiated by the sender (handset), not the receiver (server). The object formats are vcard, vmsg, vcal and vnote.)

The SCH-R355C handset features different methods to transfer MP3 files to the handset, such as Bluetooth, microSD memory card and download music or ringtones. And I have the methods on how it is done. Please see the procedures below:
To transfer MP3 files (via a memory card), from a PC, follow the steps below:

Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader
Connect the memory card reader to the PC’s USB port

Using USB Data Cable & PC
Confirm the handset's PC Connection is set to USB mode
Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB cable to both the handset & the target PC
Once the USB connection has been established, the handset displays "Connected to PC" and the PC will show a pop-up removable disk box
Click on "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" then click OK or open it manually
Right click on Start then left click on Explore to open a second Windows Explorer window

Plug the USB data cable into both the phone and PC
When the New Removable Disk appears on the PC display choose to "open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" or manually open it

> Restart the PC and soft reset the phone (turn off and remove the battery for about a minute and put it back in the phone and turn it on again)
> Make sure that the USB cable is samsung genuine accessory

To connect your phone to your computer, you don’t need driver for this. There is no downloadable driver for the SCH-r355 handset. If you are trying to connect your phone to your computer to transfer music files or picture, please see the steps below:
The SCH-R355C handset features different methods to transfer MP3 files to the handset, such as Bluetooth, micro SD memory card and download music or ringtones. And I have the methods on how it is done. Please see the procedures below:
To transfer MP3 files (via a memory card), from a PC, follow the steps below:
Insert the formatted memory card into the memory card adaptor
Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader
Connect the memory card reader to the PC’s USB port
You will see a new Removable Disk drive appear, this would be the memory card, or open Windows Explorer
Copy the MP3 files then paste them in the memory card's My Music or My Ringtones folder
Insert the memory card into the SCH-R355C handset's memory card slot
Note: In order to set an MP3 file, located on a memory card, as a ringtone it MUST be located in the My Ringtones folder.
Using USB Data Cable & PC
Confirm the handset's PC Connection is set to USB mode
Insert the micro SD memory card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB cable to both the handset & the target PC
Once the USB connection has been established, the handset displays "Connected to PC" and the PC will show a pop-up removable disk box
Click on "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" then click OK or open it manually
Right click on Start then left click on Explore to open a second Windows Explorer window
Navigate to the location of the MP3 files then drag and drop them into either the My Music or My Ringtones folder Now it is safe to unplug the USB cable from both the PC & handset to begin playing the MP3 files
Via Bluetooth
On the Samsung handset
Turn Bluetooth On
Set the phone’s Bluetooth visibility to on
On the phone with MP3 files
While in standby mode, activate Bluetooth by turning it on
Search for new Bluetooth devices
Select the SCH-R355C phone
Exchange the PIN Codes on both devices to pair the phones (the default code is “0000”)
Browse for desired MP3 file(s)
Transfer data from phone to phone
On the Samsung handset
Accept exchanging data

The owner's manuals says:

Your phone notifies you of a call in the following ways: ...
• A phone number (unless blocked by the caller) and a name appear in the display, if the
caller’s number and name are stored in your Contacts list.
• If the caller can’t be identified, Call from unavailable#, Call from restricted number, or
no number appears in the display.

Not sure this helps you much, but it is what the manual says.
