My husband has the Samsung R355C Querty phone I need to find out where he is sometimes I turned the Location(GPS) on how can I track this phone w/ PC?

I have read the manual and it says Nothing anbout it except it tells you HOW to turn the Location(GPS) on to where its on all the time or just when u need to make a 911 phonecall! I need to track this phone ASAP..like NOW, can someone PLEASE HELP ME?

Sent Text Message Icons?

When I send a text message, sometimes in the outbox it will have a check mark (which I assume means the message was successfully sent to the desired recipient), but other times it will have an arrow or an hour glass. What do those two icons mean? Was my message sent?

SIMM Cards do not work in my zip code with Straightalk access. Is there a remedy?

I want to upgrade my phone(s); my problem is SIMM cards don't work in the remote area we live in.
The R355C.works but we more functionality and ability. The apps and downloads for this phone are, to say the least a bit primitive. what do you recommend?

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

RE: Samsung R355C cellphone (Straighttalk/Tracfone). How do I change the alerts on messages (text and voicemail) to once per minute?

This phone only alerts to new messages (texts and voicemails) once. I would like it to alert once per minute until the message is retrieved, but I do not see an option to do that.

How do I get my text message tone back?

The volume keeps going way down on my text message tone. Or maybe it switches to a different tone I'm not sure. But it ends up being almost impossible to hear and it is not the tone I chose. When I try to get it back, I can't find any way. I end up resetting my phone to get it back.

1. Save the person's phone number in your Samsung phone's address book. If it's a bill collector or another person who you don't know, you can save the name as something generic, like "Ignore" or "Block."

2. Go to the entry that you just saved in your contact list and click "Edit." Scroll down until you see "Sounds," "Tones" or similar and press "OK."

3. Scroll down again until you see "No Ring." Select this option and then press "OK" to save this new change to the contact. From now on, all incoming calls from this person will be silent and sent on to voice mail without you hearing the phone ring.

Insufficient memory error while browsing internet.

I keep getting an insufficient memory error while browsing the internet with my phone. I am using Straight Talk with the unlimited text and web browsing package. How can I fix this error?
