Hi Kaveboy,

Thanks for your question!

To pair the TracFone SCH-R355C handset with a Bluetooth Device follow the steps below:

Place the Bluetooth device in discoverable mode
While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
Select Tools (8)
Select Bluetooth (1)
Select Registered List (1)
Press OK to Add New Device
Press the left soft key for Yes to turn Bluetooth On
Press the OK key on the “Place device you are connecting to in discoverable mode” prompt to search for devices
Highlight the desired Bluetooth Device, using the navigation keys, and press the OK key to Pair the devices
Enter Passkey "0000" and press OK key, the handset will display a brief message stating pairing
Using the navigation keys, select the Bluetooth device, and press the OK button
Note: If you are pairing and connecting to another phone or to a personal computer, both devices prompt for a passkey or PIN. To successfully pair and connect your phone with the other device, the same passkey or PIN must be entered on both devices.

Please Note: The first time you try to pair with another handset, you and the owner of the other handset must enter the same PIN. Once the handsets are paired, you will not need to use the PIN again.

Hi there,

The SCH-R355C handset has the capability to transfer files directly between a PC and a memory card (residing within the handset) with a compatible USB data cable.

Insert a memory card into the memory card slot
From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
Select Settings (9)
Select Phone Settings (5)
Select PC Connection (7)
Highlight either USB Mass Storage or No Connection
Press the OK button to save the USB Setting
Plug the USB data cable into both the phone and PC
When the New Removable Disk appears on the PC display choose to "open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" or manually open it
Either copy pictures from the phone's My_Images folder or from the PC destination to the clipboard
Paste the pictures into the PC destination or the phone's My_Images folder

If connection is unsuccessful, kindly try to check the following....

> Try using a different USB port (if using a desktop PC, please try to connect the USB data cable at the back port of the CPU)
> Restart the PC and soft reset the phone (turn off and remove the battery for about a minute and put it back in the phone and turn it on again)
> Make sure that the USB cable is samsung genuine accessory
> Try using a different USB cable
> Try to check the removable storage through the "My Computer"
> Disable or turn off the bluetooth connection of the phone

Question

Samsung R355C - When I call people on my cell phone, they say that sometimes my words are clipped at the end and they can't hear all I am saying.

Is this normal? I use my cell phone a lot and need for the people I'm speaking with the hear me well. Would a handset make it better? Although, I don't feel I should have to purchase a handset to make sure my calls are clear.

R355C no battery when plugged in

I Bought a R355C Straight Talk phone yesterday and from the moment I plugged it in it says no battery. Battery was fully charged so thought maybe that was why. Tried to plug it in to charge it today. still says no battery. Any Ideas?

SIMM Cards do not work in my zip code with Straightalk access. Is there a remedy?

I want to upgrade my phone(s); my problem is SIMM cards don't work in the remote area we live in.
The R355C.works but we more functionality and ability. The apps and downloads for this phone are, to say the least a bit primitive. what do you recommend?
