How do I download my pix to my pc?

I followed your directions but they are incomplete. Do I need some drivers or some such to download to my pc? I dont like sending them to my email addy as this just costs extra money.

The phone doesn't require a software to transfer pictures.

As configured, you can transfer pictures or videos between your phone and your computer via Bluetooth.

To transfer pictures, via Bluetooth to another Bluetooth device, follow the steps below:

Pair the US Cellular SCH-R330 (Stride) handset with the other Bluetooth device
From the standby screen, press the OK button for Menu
Select Multimedia
Select My Images (2)
Highlight the desired picture, using the navigation keys
Press the right soft key for Options
Select Send (1)
Select Via Bluetooth (2)
Press the left soft key for Done
With the Bluetooth device highlighted, press the OK button
Press the left soft key for Yes at the Connect To: prompt
Accept exchanging files on the other Bluetooth device.

While in call press the right soft key for Options and select Speaker ON to turn on the Speaker Phone, or Speaker OFF if it currently is turned on.

Pertaining to your query, the phone doesn’t have the capability to send out multiple slide texts, and also when you are sending out an mms message it is being filtered by the Network Provider and the allowable size will be 50 kb for picture messages.

You just have to press the volume up button at the left side of the phone to adjust the voice volume during a call.

Here's how to enable or disable the speakerphone feature of the SCH-R330.

While in call press the right soft key for Options and select Speaker On (7) to turn on the Speaker Phone, or Speaker Off (7) if it currently is turned on.

Warning: Due to higher volume levels, do not place the phone near your ear when using the speakerphone feature.

Your phone is powered by a rechargeable standard Li-Ion battery. Only use Samsung-approved charging devices and batteries.

Samsung accessories are designed to maximize battery life. Use of other accessories may invalidate your warranty and may cause damage.

Use the Travel Adapter.
The travel adapter rapidly charges your phone from any 120/220 VAC outlet.

1. Plug the large end of the Travel Adapter into a standard 120 VAC or 220 VAC wall outlet.

Important!: For connection to an electrical supply not located in North America, you must use an adaptor of the proper configuration for the power outlet. Use of the wrong adapter could damage your phone and void your warranty.

2. Insert the smaller end of the Travel Adapter into the charger/accessory connector on the lower right side of your phone.

Important!: You must unplug the adapter before removing the battery from the phone during charging to avoid damage.

I have a usb cord hooked to the phone and a mac computer, but the computer and the phone are not recognizing each other. Do I need software for an image transfer, or should it just work by hooking up the phone?

Samsung does not offer a software/program that would allow this capability.

The option that I can give you if you intend to transfer photos to your computer is to send it to an Online Album.

This Online Album can be activated on your account through your Wireless Provider's server.

I'm trying to send pictures from my stride to my computer using bluetooth

I can get my stride to find my computer using bluetooth but when I try to send pictures it no longer shows the computer as a device even though it does when I go to the registered list in the bluetooth menu. It just says add new device which I have done and it shows up as on until I try to send pictures.

Regarding about your concern, for you to show the clock to display on the front LCD of the Samsung Stride™ Cell Phone (SCH-R330), please follow the steps below:

1. From the main display of the phone, press on Menu, and then go to the Settings.
2. Select Display settings.
3. Select Clock Format.
4. Enable Front Clock.

Note: The Clock Format setting for the Front Clock automatically changes to Off when you change the Wallpaper setting for the Front Display.

You may also change the backlight settings to be Always On. However, prolonged backlight use drains your battery faster.

>> Standby mode, press Menu, then select Display.
The Display menu appears in the display.
>>Go to backlight
>>Stay on
>>Save

Note: Prolonged backlight use drains your battery faster.

Regarding about your concern, Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software package, for the purpose of transferring data between the Samsung Stride™ Cell Phone (SCH-R330) and a personal computer.

However, you can send images saved on your phone to an e-mail account. We recommend contacting your network provider to have the configuration settings for the SCH-R330 handset for you to send picture message.
