When I click on phone and it brings up contacts call log etc it goes back to the home screen and shows that message and says please try again.

Greetings shellabee,

There is a multitude of possibilities as to why your "acore" process is ceasing operation. A majority of the time, it is directly related to a corrupt Android file. I would strongly recommend backing up your device at your earliest convenience, and performing what is called a hard key reset.

Normally, we would recommend the use of Kies for backing up devices, but unfortunately your device is not supported by Kies. Instead, you will need to perform a backup by other means.

Once the device has been backed up, you can feel free to reach out to us via phone (888-987-4357), or by one of the social channels listed below for instructions on how to hard key reset the device.

Question

Why does my phone keep rebooting on it's own?

My galaxy precedent has been rebooting itself in the middle of phone calls and while I am texting. I have to hurry and do what I need to do before it shuts down. Also, the button at the top that you press to put it in lock mode does not seem to be working. I can't power my phone down manually. Is there some kind of update that I should be doing or is my phone just done for.

Can u tell me what memory card I shaould use in my phone ? Manual said 32 GB or less that. Do I use a 32gb Micro SD card or do I used a 32gb Micro SDHC card? then which class works best w/ my phone?

32 MicroSD would be most appropriate.

For faster response with your camera (if you want to take more pictures in a shorter amount of time), we recommend using a Class 6 or higher card. The higher the Class, the faster it responds, records and copies.

phone doesn't ring

at 1st I noticed I lost all my ringtones then they came back but my phone doesn't ring now. I do not hear any ring when I receive an incoming call. I do not see that I have a missd call no arrow in red- shows that I received the call when I didn't hear or receive the incoming call. also I can't coneect to wifi

Hello LittleGull. Thank you for reaching out. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing these difficulties. We would be happy to help though.

Please go to Menu>Settings>Application manager>All>Phone. From here you should be able to clear the cache - please do so. Then, pull the battery from your device for a full 2 minutes before replacing and rebooting.

In regard to your Wi-Fi connection issue. I recommend completely forgetting the Wi-Fi network you're having trouble with, and then readding and attempting to connect.
