Is there a hard reset on my phone?

I accidentally locked myself out of my phone because I forgot the pattern lock and i don't have my gmail synced to my phone. Can you please help? Any help is appreciated.

To play video files on Real Player, you'd need to convert them to a compatible format on your computer. A third party software application is require to perform this action.

how can I set ring tone for each contact?

I want to set a specific ring tone for each person in my contacts. I know it is posible on the galaxy so can I update mine to do the same, maybe change the andriod version? my model number is sch-m828c and andriod version is 2.2.2

how to transfer apps from internal storeage to the micro card

I read the instructions and tried to transferred my downloaded apps from the internal storeage to the micro sd card. When I attempt the transfer, I get a screen that says the transfer was unsuccessfu. I am out of internal storeage and need to move the apps to the micro SD card. Please make sure that the memory card is formatted to work on your device.

To format a memory card

1. Select the Applications.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select SD Card & Phone Storage.
4. Select Unmount SD Card.
5. Select Format SD Card.
4. Select Tap Format SD Card.
5. Choose Erase Everything.

When the format process is complete, the 'Format SD Card' option will grey out.

Note: Formatting the microSD memory card will delete all information saved on your memory card. I will suggest backing up first your files saved on the microSD memory card.

I am having problems with my phone freezing randomly, how do i fix it.

sometimes when i make phone calls, my phone freezes and i cant un-freeze it without taking out the battery and hanging up on them. and it also happens when im charging the phone too. i'm not sure how to fix it.

I am having a lot of trouble with phone freezing up constantly...I have to do a "soft reset" at least 10 times a day.

Phone also needs to be charged a lot. Battery used to get hot during charge. Should I purchase a new battery? what could be causing this and what can I do to get my phone working as it should?

Question

I just got my samsung galaxy precedent from a friend and I can't receive or send MMS.

I have called straight talk and all they kept telling me to do was reset the phone and do the updates and that wouldn't work. I have tried looking for a setting that had something to do with it but there is nothing. Then they told me that i had to send the picture messages from my registered area code to see if that would work but I did that yesterday and it still wouldnt. All it does it say that it is sending that after so long it sends me a notification that message failed. help would be great :)
