1.From standby press the Menu key
2.Select Call Records (2)
3.Select Delete All (5)
4.Highlight All Calls and press the OK key to populate its checkbox
5.Press the Delete key
6.Press the Yes key to confirm

Question

What can I do to fix my cell phone?

I have a Samsung SCH-M828C, recently it started to display that it was charging. Even tho there is no charger or data link connected to it. It even displays percentage of battery charge, except the percentage is counting down. It will beep and say that it is charging and beep as if it is not charging. It is really getting on my nerves.

Question

Is my system or battery corrupted?

Whenever I charge my phone 100% and it's off, it looks like the battery is off all the way to the left, when I don't have it plugged up and it's off, it won't turn on, when it's on it says it's charging, when it's not, plus for the first 3 days, when I used it, the battery ran hot, at 101 degrees.

Question

why won't my computer recognize my phone?

the phone will charge, (POORLY, THERE IS A PROBLEM HERE TOO), but the phone doesn't appear as a device. i can't transfer anything back and forth to my phone.
also, when charging, the phone will stop, then an error message, then strt up again. very noisy, annoying, and time wasting.

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry.

To stop an application from running in the background, simply long press the Home soft key to pull up the Task Manager application. There you can stop applications from running, in order to prevent battery drain.

To transfer music files from a PC to the phone, follow the steps below to use Mass Storage Mode.

*For Windows Vista/XP/7 OPERATING SYSTEM

> Make sure that USB debugging is unchecked:
> Select Menu
> Applications
> Select Settings
> Development
> Uncheck all three options (USB debugging, Allow mock location, Stay Awake)

* For MAC Computer

> Make sure that USB debugging is checked:
> Select Menu
> Applications
> Select Settings
> Development
> Check USB debugging and check other options (Allow mock location and Stay Awake)

*Then you may follow the steps below when connecting phone to PC or Laptop:

>Connect the USB data cable to the device and a laptop or PC
> After the USB icon appears in the Notification Drawer, pull it down
> Select USB Connected
> Select Mount

> On the PC, navigate to the Removable Disk assigned to the device. This can be done through the automatic pop up screen or ‘My Computer.
> Drag and drop (copy and paste) files from other locations of your PC to this folder

If this steps won’t work, Try to check this stuff….

> Try using a different USB port
> Restart the PC and soft reset the phone
> Make sure that the USB cable is Samsung genuine accessory
> Try using a different USB cable
> Try to check the removable storage through the "My Computer"

How do i set up.. ad-hoc network, use my wifi on my samsung t.v., also how to view my phone on my t.v. while connected

I have a samsung led smart t.v . model number un40d6500.

I have the same issue. It's ridiculous, isn't it? The only way to pull up the dial pad, once connected: you must dial manually, then as soon as the phone connects, you have to beat the automatic locking device, by swiping to speaker (move to the right). Once on speaker, you can pull up the dial pad. I have no idea why they did such a poor job making this, nor do I know why they have no instructions on how to stop this from happening. Thank you for your inquiry.

To transfer files from Samsung Epic 4G phone follow the steps below:

1. Press the Home Key.
2. Plug the cable into the phone.
3. Plug the other end of the cable in a USB port.
Tip: Avoid the use of multiport hubs if possible.
4. Tap on Mass Storage
5. Sweep down on the Notification bar and Tap USB connected-Select to copy files to/from the computer
6. Tap Mount
7. The PC may throw an option window. Click on Open folder to view files.
8. Navigate to the desired files to be transferred and either drag and drop them over or copy and paste them into the directories.
