In the "to:" field type the name of the person you wish to send a text and the number(s) should pop up, select one and immediately after it enters the name/number, type another name and follow the before-mentioned procedure.

When I use the voice option to dictate a text message, how do I get it to capitalize.

battery

My Samsung Precedent keeps displaying a message when i plug the charger in...I am using the correct charger and all my outlets are fine. The error message says "non supported battery,please see user manual"....does this mean I got a bad battery?

Why does my phone go crazy when I plug it up to charge if the screen isn't locked?

If I forget to lock the screen on my Samsung Galaxy Precedent Smartphone, this thing goes crazy. It starts going through a series of rapid screen changes, buttons on the keyboard are pressed quickly and it even dialed my friend's phone number. Immediately unplugging the charger stopped this, although I'm not sure my friend believed my phone called her by itself. If I make sure the screen is locked then plug it into the charger, this does not happen. I have Norton Antivirus, and Trend Micro on this thing so I know it's not malware or virus. I just got it the last of November. I have googled this and I'm not the only one with a smartphone that has this problem. It's not really a problem, as long as I make sure the screen is locked. And yes, I am using the correct charger, correct cord that plugs into the USB charger provided with the phone. All that said, I love the phone, just wish the battery lasted longer. Disabling wifi & GPS helps with this though. Also downloaded a reputable task manager to keep up with is running on the phone, and killing unneccessary apps on it helps with that as well.

Question

Help me turn off screen lock when I make a call...

When I make a call the screen locks. I am unable to key in my telephone password to communicate with my financial institution because the screen is locked and when you follow instructions by pressing power button to unlock screen.... well then it cuts the call and hangs up. I have removed all screen lock options and increased timeout to 30 minutes and everything I can see to try to disable this from happening... but with no solution. Please tell me how I can use the touch dialpad after call starts and/or what can I do to keep from cutting the call when I try to "unlock" the screen. VERY IMPORTANT!!! I NEED TO ACCESS MY BANK... PLEASE!

What is a MMS tran Failed HTTP403 Error Forbidden?

I was able to send one picture from my brand new phone I just got 3 days ago. I sent the picture yesterday and when I tried to send a picture last night, that's the error I received. My son also tried to send me a picture and it failed. I got a message from a friend of mine last night that had a download holiday greeting and it failed too. I would like to know if this is something in my settings or I need to download some application.... please let me know something ASAP! Thank you

Why won't Precedent connect to my computer, via usb cable?

I've done hours of research on the internet and still have yet to come up with an answer to my question. I've tried changing every setting I can think of and still my computer will not recognize my Precedent when I connect it with my usb cable.

How can I get facebook profile pics to show up in my texting threads?

It just shows the little alien man for everyone I text, including myself. When I go to contacts, the fb profile pics are there, but they don't transfer over to texting.

If the default phone lock code did not work then we can do a reset on the phone.
