if i call someone on three way..im not able to hang up the person i called on three way i end up hanging up everybody...so i wanted to know how do u hang up the other person without hanging up everyone

Thanks for your question!
To save a picture, just: -tap on the menu key -tap on application -tap on messaging -tap on inbox -tap on menu -select download attachment Or you can just try to tap & hold the attachment Note: please check on the menu or options if the attachment can be saved or not. For every picture that you saved, you can view it on the file or gallery folder.
If you want to use the downloaded ringtone to set as your personal ringtone on your SGH-i897 (Captivate) handset, then the ringtone must be below 300 KB.
Once you downloaded the tone, save it on the ringtones folder to automatically save them on the ringtones list. Then follow the steps below on how you can change the ringtone on the handset.
STEPS:
1. From Home Screen, Press Menu 2. Go to Settings 3. Select Sound and Display 4. Select on Notification Ringtone 5. Tap on the radio button on the selected tone 6. Press OK to save the changes.

Note: The below instructions assume multiple accounts have been configured and synced to the handset and a memory card is present. Export/Import Contacts
-Press the Home Key -Tap on Applications -Tap on Contacts -Press the Menu Key, More, and tap on Import/Export. Tap Export to SD card -Tap Ok to confirm export
Note: The handset will export the contacts. it may take a few moments.
-Press the Menu Key , More and tap on Import/Export. Tap Import from SD card
Note: The handset will scan the memory card for the vCard files. If you have multiple vCard files, you may be prompted to select a specific file
-If the phone has multiple sources for contacts, you will be prompted to select a source to import under. Tap on Phone. Note: If Phone source is not selected, the fields to assign groups will not be visible.
Assigning Ringtone or Group
-Go into Contacts, tap on a contact, press Menu Key and tap Edit -Tap on Phone -Scroll down to show fields for Groups or Ringtones. Tap on the desired selection and make the choices.

You can use the SIM card to move contacts between the SGH-T401G and the Galaxy Precedent- SCH-M828C. To do so, just follow the steps below.
(On the SGH-T401G ) To copy contacts, from the phone's memory, to the SIM card follow the steps below: While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu Select Contacts (2) Select Contact List (1) Highlight the desired contact entry, stored in the handset's memory, using the navigation keys Press the left soft key for Options Select Copy to SIM Card (9) Select either Selected (1) or All (2) Press the left soft key to Save the Contact to the SIM Card Note: When a contact phone number is copied from the phone to the SIM card, the phone number may appear twice in the Contact list, depending on the Contact settings. All contacts which have been stored on the SIM card will appear with a SIM card icon to the left of the entry. Any contacts which have been stored on the handset will appear with a phone icon to the left of the entry
(On the Galaxy Precedent- SCH-M828C) To copy contacts, from the SIM card, to the phone memory follow the steps below: While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu Select Contacts (2) Select Contact List (1) Highlight the desired contact entry, stored in the SIM card, using the navigation keys Press the left soft key for Options Select Copy to Phone (9) Highlight the Phone Type, using the navigation keys then press the left soft key for Select Press the OK key for Save to copy the selected SIM Card Contact to the Phone. How do you disable the screen lock feature during a call?
When taking or placing calls or retreiving vm-the screen locks the instant you hit the send button and you have to unlock the screen to access the keypad. This is very annoying and I would like to know how you disable this feature.

will there be an update for this phone right now it uses android 2.2 it is great yet limited because adobe flashplayer does not work as well as other programs and i know that a more recent version of android would fix this problem

When you have the contact info on the screen for the person you would like to assign a ringtone, select the menu icon (far left). Then choose "options". One of the options offered is "Select Ringtone"

After charging my phone, when I unplug it, I cannot use it unless I reboot it. Is this normal?
Also, I note that when the phone is plugged in for charging that the phone cannot be used and phone calls do not ring and go right to voice mail, unless I reboot the phone. Again, is this normal?

I am considering getting the Samsung SCH-M828C. However, before I buy it, there are a few things I would like to know. First, what type of keyboard is does it have? I currently have a Samsung phone which is also a touchscreen, and it has the normal keyboard of a flip phone with t9, which I am very happy with. It also has the option of the touchscreen qwerty-keyboard as well. So I'm wondering what options does the Samsung SCH-M828C have? And, also, has this phone had any reports of freezing up? My current one does, even after I've gotten it replaced twice, and I'm trying to find a phone that doesn't. Please help me find this out. Thank you!
