Is there a hard reset on my phone?

I accidentally locked myself out of my phone because I forgot the pattern lock and i don't have my gmail synced to my phone. Can you please help? Any help is appreciated.

Question

How to unlock the phone when making a phonecall?

I always get a message to press the power button to unlock. Everytime i press the power button, it ended the call. I'm not able to use the dial pad to enter pass code for voice message and etc. Please advise.

What type of file would you like to save from the web? Is it an audio, image or video file?

If you'd like to save an image, just press and hold the image. It will automatically save to the Gallery and MyFiles applications (in the DCMI folder).

To download audio and video files, you will need to use a third party application from the Android Market.

If you'd like to download files, such as PDFs and Word Docs, you'll need to use a third party application as well . Please visit the Android Market at www.market.android.com for options.

Question

Incoming calls will not ring

When receiving an incoming call the phone will not ring.

Phone is not in silent mode.

Am able to adjust the ringtone volume with external buttons on side of phone and by going through the phones settings. In each case the ringtone level is
set so it is audible.

Have tried to power off and power on the phone to no use.

Have powered off and removed battery for 5 minutes before reinstalling and turning the phone back on to no use.

Question

I am having a problem with the pictures on my phone. For some reason they are no longer in my "gallery" at all.

I can only see my pictures when I go to "my files" and they are in the DCIM folder. However, they still wont slide from one pic to another, I have to go out and go back in to see another photo. Since this problem has occured I also cannot transfer any pics from my phone to my computer. I have done it before with no problem before my pics dissapeared from my gallery. I take the small memory card out and put it in the adapter card and put that into my computer but then it says file cannot be read.
My phone is a samsung precedent.

Please try a soft reset.
1. Power off
2. Remove the battery and leave it out for at least 30 seconds
3. Insert battery back into device
4. Power back on and evaluate

why do i keep haveing to reboot it every 10 min

it gets so slow at 10 min that i have to reboot it to make it usable again and its not gradual either right around ten min it just grinds to a near halt
