Your serial number is located on the back of the product, toward the bottom, and is labeled "IMEI."

The serial number that you need o enter to be able to register your tablet is the HEX- The Hexidecimal ESN is the alphanumeric code that is 8 - 14 characters in length.

When the update to jelly bean will be available?

I found a few videos online about the same tab been update it here in the US and other countries, when will be available the update for this model from Verizon, I am so use to Jelly bean because I also own a Galaxy note 2.
Please make this update to be available soon.

WIFI problem authentication error

When I try to connect to my wifi network with bluetooth on I get an authentication error, but when I turn bluetooth off it connects instantly to my wifi network.

Question

Can not connect Samsung Tab 2 7.0 to Kies 2.0

I have a Verizon Wireless Samsung SCH-i705 Tab 2 7.0 that I can not sync with my computer.

I've installed all the drivers and programs (namely "Kies") from Samsung's website, but Kies is saying "This device is not supported by Kies 2.0. Make sure that your device is supported and try again".. Which I'm thinking is an error because this program is what was listed on Samsung's website to sync this tablet. I am connecting through USB. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, and get the same response. Tried a different USB port, and get the same result

Any ideas on how to get around this? I've seen a couple posts where people have had the Galaxy Phones and were able to "Open the dialer" and enter a number, but there isn't a "dialer" on this tablet..

Question

Why doesn't my battery notification update as the battery drains?

My battery icon on the notification bar freezes and does not display the battery life accurately. The battery image does not "empty" and the percentage does not decrease. Most importantly, the low battery warning does not trigger. Does anyone else have this problem? If you had this problem, did you find a fix?

tab 2 7.0 cannot connect to PC via USB

once connected to PC via USB, the tab charges instead. i can no longer transfer files...neither the PC nor the tab can recognize the connection
