Tap "apps" on thew lower right of the home screen (unless you've moved your home screen - it's on the lower right of some screen) which is a grid of white squares. It gives you a series of screens of apps that are standard one. If it happened to be an app that you downloaded you'd need to tap the arrow pointing down on the right.
Hold your finger on the app and your home screens will come up in the background and you just drag it where you want it to go.

Problem: Video quality is great...Cammera quality pooer

With default settings the video quality is fantastic, but the still camera quality is not.
Not as sharp.
Exposure not that good.
I set the exposure and stil not much better.
Thoughts?

how can i convert a voice recording to mp3?

I used the voice recorder on my phone to record something now I want to copy it to a CD but I don't know what the .3ga file extension is and don't know how to convert it to something most other audio players will recognize.

favorites tray icons

I lost the phone icon on my phone & on the home screen where the phone icon is. I tried to put the folder for the phone back on the favorites tray, it says there is no more room. That doesn't make sense as the only other icons are the ones that came from Samsung on the home screen, i have a place for it.

Please follow the steps below to add or remove shortcuts:
To add:
-Touch and hold a shortcut, then drag it from the
Primary Shortcuts to the Home screen, or from the
Home screen to the Primary Shortcuts.
To remove:
-Touch and hold the shortcut until Remove appears,
then drag the shortcut to the Remove icon.

There's no IR port on your phone and to use your phone as a remote control for your television, you may try downloading a third party application from the Google Play Store to have this functionality.

Group Text Messaging on Galaxy S3

Will group text messaging capability enhancements be included in the next software update?

Not being able to keep a group conversation in the same thread is extremely inefficient and annoying.

We shouldn't have to turn to third-party apps like Go SMS to circumvent this.

Question

Missing JB email widget on VZW upgrade?

I just upgraded to JB on my VZW S3. Most of the upgrade is great.

However, the 1x1 email widget that allowed individual email accounts to each have a link on the home screen is now gone.

I'd either like it back or a substitute made available.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you upgraded your SCH-I535 to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and after the upgrade, the 1x1 email widget is gone. We also understand that you either like the widget back or have a substitue or it. We do apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused you.

You may try performing a soft reset on the phone as a basic troubleshooting step to fix it, by taking out the battery for at least 15-30 seconds, then put the battery back in again and turn it back on to refresh the software.

You may check if that widget is still installed on your phone by following the steps provided below:

1. From the Home screen, tap Menu key > Settings > Application Manager.
2. Slide to left until All Tab is reached.
3. Look for the Email Application.

If it is still on your Application Manager, you may look at the Applications to check if it is there and you can put in on the Home screen again.

4G LTE? You should not have to do anything is your carrier supports 4G, and if you have 4G in your area. Who is your provider? Not all areas are serviced in 4G by some providers.

Hold down the Home button (the only real button on the front of the phone) and after a few seconds a menu will pop up on the bottom of the screen. Select "Task Manager". From there, you should be able to end all running apps, or just end a specific one.

How do I get support for my Galaxy S3 (32GB)

Have synchronized my device with PC Outlook using Kies software. Today I get an error message: "Unsupported device alert" This device is not supported by Kies 2.0. make sure that your device is supported and try again.

Question

Backspace in my Korean Keyboard does not work well...

It's really weird because the backspace on English keyboard and the backspace on symbols keyboard works fine; but the backspace for Korean keyboard does not work well. Although I try to press the backspace, it always just types the Korean alphabet "ㅣ," which is right above the backspace. This is really annoying since even when I am typing in Korean, I would have to change back to English if I want to erase something.

Adding Custom Ringtones for Notification Use on Galaxy S III

I am trying to figure out if I can add custom Ringtones to the device, to be used for Notifications (not calls); and if I can, how to go about adding them to the device so they appear on the Notification RIngtones List.

You can add a personal ringtone form the sounds stored on your device by touching Go To My Files and finding the file. You may also want to explore the Play Store for apps that allow this as well.
