Hi shoelady!

Thanks for reaching out! I'd be happy to help you today. Regarding the ability to sync with Outlook, Samsung does not provide an application for this option. However, you may sync your phone over the air with your Gmail account.

You need to create a Gmail account on the computer and set up your Gmail account on the phone. You also need to import/export your outlook to your Gmail account. Once you did that, on your phone, go to settings, accounts and sync, tap on your Gmail account, make sure that the Sync Calendar, Sync contacts, Sync Gmail are all check. From there your Gmail will automatically sync to your phone.

There are no options to print out text messages from the SCH-I500 (Fascinate) phone as there are no program or software is available that would offer this functionality. However, you may get in touch with your service provider and ask if the option to print out text messages is available on their end.

You can change your email signature under Account Settings. Go to Applications> Email and select the account to view it> Menu> Account settings. Under General settings you can change the "Your name" field. That should take care of it. The Annunciator line or notifications panel displays icons to show network status, battery power, and other details. Once a new voicemail message is received by the phone, the voice mail icon will display on the notifications panel. You can swipe down the notification panel and check if a new voice mail has been received.

Can I uninstall the most recent update?

I can no longer use my phone through the Snyc system in my Ford Edge. It worked great until the update ran a couple of weeks ago. It has become very frustrating as calls get dropped after 30 seconds and it takes a few minutes for my phone to work after that.

Edit button not available on many calendar events

Running 2.2.1 on Verizon Wireless Fasinate. Ever since upgrade, edit button does not appear in menu for most individual calendar events synced from corporate Exchange Outlook. A few events will show button in menu, but most do not. How can I get the edit button back onto the menu for all events?

Battery life durations are dependent on customer usage variables. Some variables that may affect battery life are:

•Backlight settings set to always on, or a long amount of time
•Ring tone settings set to higher volume settings
•Vibrate settings turned on
•Using Internet Services including Text Messaging
•Making and/or Receiving calls in, or simply standing by in an analog service area
•If you tend to be in a "weak" coverage area where your signal strength meter shows only 1 to 2 bars
•Using non-SAMSUNG charging accessories can cause battery life and other issues, as well as void the manufacture's limited warranty.

Question

how do you get apps to store on the sd card?

I am downloading iBird Pro, which has turned into an all day project. I assumed that the individual bird data would be stored on the sd card (have a 32g), but it is installing (very slowly via the carrier's wifi hotspot) onto the phone. Is there a way to direct such large things (this one is 400mb) to the card? The option in manage applications is grayed out.

Is there issues with the latest upgrades? for verizon cell phone galaxy s /1500

A few weeks ago, i got a message that my cell phone program was upgraded. Since then, it has been acting differently. The brightness does not stay consistant, no matter what I do to the setting. Also i use a docking station at work, and with the upgrage, after a few minutes, I lose the docking screen to a black screen with only the time that randomly shows up on the screen. Also now when the phone is fully charged it tells me to remove from the docking station. Went to verizon and they said the upgade was from you - samsung, not from verizon.

My phone no longer connects to the web unless I use 3g. This was not the case in the past.

Question

Is there a fix for the upgrade that was installed two weeks ago that is not allowing apps to close?

Although advanced task killer is installed, random apps constantly open which is draining the battery. This only started happening after the upgrade.
