Please try to do a soft reset on the phone by powering it off and removing the battery then placing it back again after a few minutes to reboot the handset.

Question

How do I turn off Wifi searching?

When in my home, the phone connects to my home wifi and mybattery life is very good. As soon as i leave home, the battery life begins to reduce at a rapid pace. i have changed settings to power saver mode, have very few applications open, but the battery doesn't last more than a few hours. I suspect it is because it is constantly trying to find or connect with wifi networks it is locating.

Is there a way to keep data from sop working on phone?

Every once in a while i have to turn the phone to airplane mode or reset it to get data to start working again. Any permeant fix for this?

Question

Why is the "Auto-fit pages" feature unresponsive even though is checked on?

When I zoom pages in the browser they do not automatically fit the screen like they're supposed to. I went into settings and made sure the Auto-fit pages feature is turned on but the web pages still do not fit the screen. What else can be done about this?

Question

Notification Ring while Charging

When my Stratosphere is plugged in and charging, the notification alert changes to a default ring and I cannot make it stop. I have to turn the volume down until it's muted then it stops. How do I fix this? The notification rings are on my custom settings when the phone is not plugged in.

Question

Why are there duplicate entries in contacts?

I just got this phone and when they transferred my contacts from my old phone I ended up with duplicates of almost all my contacts. The only difference between the duplicates is under one there is the google 'g' and under the other there is a red silhouete of a head.
How do I get rid of the duplicates? And which duplicate do I get rid of?

Question

Why does my phone keep getting stuck in landscape mode?

Two days ago the phone just started getting stuck in landscape mode, and no matter how many times I restarted it or turned the screen on or off it would still be the same. I factory reset the whole phone and it still gets stuck sometimes. It takes a couple of times of turning the screen on or off for it to get back to normal mode.

Question

Battery Life??

I've had this phone for a little over a week now, and I have found the standard battery that comes with this phone can not keep a charge all day. I take it off the charger at 6:30am before I leave for work and by 2:00pm it is already kicking into power save mode, I haven't done very much with it all morning. Why is the standard battery so poor!
