Question

Why does the phone only sync some of my google calendars?

My phone only syncs some of my google calendars, and not does not sync with my personal google calendar. I was using an app called Daily Brief, and think it may have made that apps calendar my personal calendar. That app would not sync with my personal Google calendar either. But, if I were to put an appointment in Daily Briefs, it would show up in my phone's calendar.

Connecting phone to computer

When I connect my phone to the computer via USB cord/port. My computer tells me that my device is not recognized. I have updated my driver software, and no avail. I want to be able to put files on my phone from the computer, but I have no clue how to get my phone/computer to recognize each other.

Question

Why can I not receive RSS feeds anymore?

I have had issues with RSS feeds since I updated the software on my phone. Sometimes it will be days before I receive any feeds. Currently I haven't received any since August 1st. The ticker was the main reason I purchased this phone and am very disappointed that I am unable to use this feature.

How Do I Connect In Mass Storage Mode to Transfer Data From My Verizon Wireless SCH-i400 Continuum Phone To A PC?

Configure Port Mapping

Press the Home Key
Press the Menu Key
Tap on Settings
Tap on USB settings, USB mode

Tap on Mass storage to connect as a portable hard drive device to a PC where an application such as Windows Explorer can detect the phone and allow the exchange of files
or
Tap on Media sync to connect as a portable music device to a PC where an application such as Windows Media Player can detect the phone and exchange media.
Connecting & Transferring

Press the Home Key
Plug the cable into the phone
Plug the other end of the cable in a USB port
Tip: Avoid the use of multiport hubs if possible.
Sweep down on the Notification bar and Tap USB connected-Select to copy files to/from the computer
Tap Mount
The PC will throw an option window. Click on Open folder to view files.
Navigate to the desired files to be transferred and either drag and drop them over or copy and paste them into the directories.

Alarm problems

I have a samsung continuum, When I set my alarm for some reason it turns itself off when the phone is on standby, I will set it before I go to bed and it will never go off it disappears.

1. Power off
2. Remove the battery and leave it out for at least 30 seconds
3. Insert battery back into device
4. Power back on and evaluate

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Question

when will android 2.2 be available for the continuum?

Verizon just notified me that Samsung is the reason the update is not available. Is there any chance that Samsung will update the software for the continuum. When I purchased this phone in January 2011 I was told it would be upgraded, but nothing. Please help.
