Question

when will android 2.2 be available for the continuum?

Verizon just notified me that Samsung is the reason the update is not available. Is there any chance that Samsung will update the software for the continuum. When I purchased this phone in January 2011 I was told it would be upgraded, but nothing. Please help.

Question

The WeatherBug Clock is in the wrong time-zone.

I live in Indian Head, Maryland and it is one-hour behind. I've checked with WeatherBug support but they replied "If the clock has an analog face, it is not WeatherBug's application but most likely the developer of the device (Samsung)'s application that is using the WeatherBug data feed. In this case, you will need to contact the developer (Samsung) regarding their app. We do not know how they designed/programed it. If it has a digital face, please check your device's settings. The WeatherBug app draws its time directly from the device's settings."

The clock has an analog face. Please advise and I like this app! Thank you!

Question

Why does my phone not transfer the music during my sync with Rhapsody. I have licenses for both my phone and PC

It connects, seems to look ok, then when I go to play the songs from my phone the file format is not supported (even though the exact same song used to play) or the lisence for the song has expired. Even after "syncing" my phone, the lisence continues to be expired.

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Question

Can't modify email settings

This is a Galaxy S on Verizon. I am not able to modify my email account settings such as the incoming and outgoing server settings. I can get to the account settings menu but the only things i can modify are things like limits, signatures and folders. No option is provided to change the more technical settings. I cannot even delete the account so i can reenter it from scratch. For some reason I can no longer send mail and this problem is preventing me from checking my outgoing server setting. Thoughts?

Please try to do a soft reset on the phone by powering it off and removing the battery then placing it back again to reboot the handset.

Removing Account:

Press the Home Key
Press the Menu Key and tap on Settings
Tap on Accounts and sync
Tap on the Coporate account
Tap on the account and then tap Remove account after acknowledging the warning.

analog clock

the analog clock on my home page has the incorrect time, however, the digital time at the bottom on the phone is correct. How do I correct the analog clock?

Email and txt alerts

Is there any way to get other alert sounds other than the ones that come loaded in the phone. I can get my ringtone but can't use my sounds that are on my sd card
