Question

Unable to get past beyond entering date and time on camera

Hi, I hope you can help, I purchased Samsung st100 camera beggining of this year, great camera, but few months ago I lost USB cable and as I was not able to charge it, I haven't used it. Few days ago I purchased new cable and charged it. No again, when I turn it on it ask to set up date and time and once I enter details and press with my finger on screen where it says -OK- (below date and time details on the bottom right side) it does not do anything - it's like OK option is not working. Any suggestions what else can I do on my side before I go to see if this camera can be serviced by someone, I want to try to avoid any costs first. thank you

The Samsung ST100 does not officially support Macintosh through the Intelli-studio software. However, photos taken with our cameras can be easily uploaded into other Macintosh-compatible software programs.

The touch screen is not responding

Hello,

My camera touch screen is not responding like it should. I cannot scroll down in the menu, I cannot delete pictures because the touch screen is not functioning correctly. Some on screen buttons do work, but not all of them.

Flash doesnt Work

I have recently bought this camera ST100 and I have tried the Auto flash and Fill In flash modes but as soon as I am taking the picture the Flash sign turns RED and the picture taken is dark and Flash doesnt seem to be working , Am I missing some option here or does it need to be replaced , Please help. Auto Rotate Does Not Work?

On my last 3 camera the orientation of the photo would rotate to fill the screen for easier viewing depending on how you hold the camera. The ST100 does does not auto rotate to the way the user is holding the camera. Is this intentional? The Auto Rotate option is set to "on".

Why do white spots appear on the picture when flashing is used?

I have tried different mode when taking pictures at night. But there are white spots appearing on the pictures and most pictures appear very bright and red eyes when flashing is used as well.

How can I fix the sceen on my camera?

I have the Samsung camera, ST100. It turns on, takes pictures, and can turn off but the screen stays black. Even when i have the camera on. It can take pictures and the front LCD screen works. I have tried charging it and plugging it into my laptop and taking the battery out but nothing works. I have rarely dropped it and its never gotten water damage. So can i do something to fix this or if Samsung needs to do something, how much will it cost?

How to get the "connecting computer" message to go away when I turn on my camera?
