I just purchased the SH-100 in Red for someone at Christmas and they experienced (wi-fi connectivity problems). Here's how I fixed it. You cannot do this using the Intelli-studio software because the software on the camera is newer than the latest available for download and Intelli-studio refuses to downgrade.
I went to the Samsung Download Center and drilled down into Cameras -> Wi-Fi -> Samsung SH100 -> EC-SH100ZBPBUS. There are three final choices, but it makes no difference which one you choose because all of the model-specific files are available no matter which model you choose. Under the heading "Download Center for EC-SH100ZBPBUS" click on Firmware. If you have the black model, choose "Upgrade File (Firmware) (ver. 1107204)" and save it somewhere you'll remember. The red model requires 1107201. I'm guessing the "S" model is for silver(?) and I have no idea which file that color requires.
Unpack the zip file in a new folder. You will see two files, FWUP.txt and SH100_R01-DSP-1107201-full.elf (or 1107204, of course). Plug in the camera and copy those two files to the root of the drive letter that your camera created. *Safely* eject the drive letter from Windows when it is done and disconnect the camera. (Turn the camera off if it is still on.) Turn the camera back on and you should see a black and white screen show up indicating that the camera wants to upgrade the firmware -- you may need to click Home to trigger the check, I don't recall now. Click the shutter button to start the upgrade. When it completes, the camera will turn itself off. Turn the camera back on and, while you (may) see a pretty significant change in the screens, everything should work now.

The SH100 has approximately 6.9 megabytes of internal memory. Samsung recommends expanding the memory capacity by inserting and formatting a microSD card of up to 2 gigabytes or a microSDHC card of up to 8 gigabytes (guaranteed). If you do not have a memory card available you could try reducing the size and quality of the photos so they take up less memory.
To delete all files on your memory card, select Menu > Delete > All > OK then touch Yes when the pop-up message appears. To delete single or multiple files, please refer to page 87 of the user manual.

Samsung's new memory cards that meet the SH100's specifications include the MB-MS2GA, MB-MS4GA, MB-MS8GA and MB-MP8GA. Higher capacity cards may be used, but are not guaranteed for this camera model.
Why won't my SH100 camera read the 8GB Micro SDHC I bought?
Every time I put in the MicroSDHC card the camera says an error occurred and that I have to remove and put the memory card in again and turn off the camera. I don't get why this is happening.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. I'm not sure what you mean by "sticky" - is there a sticky substance on the zoom lever or shutter release button, or is the zoom lever not rotating smoothly? In either case, I would not recommend spraying anything directly on the camera, and even compressed air sprayed directly onto the buttons could make matters worse. If there's a sticky substance on the button, a mild cleaner designed for electronics applied to a gentle lint-free cloth may suffice. If not, I would suggest you call 800-SAMSUNG for assistance determining whether service will be necessary.
