There is a blue glow at the top and bottom when against black. What can I do to fix this?
The blue glow is only noticeable when gaming, and appears against darker backgrounds, but is most noticeable against black backgrounds. It is almost as though a blue sun is setting at the bottom, and top. The glow at the bottom is a bit thicker toward the middle, but is present along the entire bottom.
GTX 470 SC Driver version 310.70
Magic Angle=Group View
HDMI Black Level=Normal (Video Card connected via HDMI)
Colors all set at 50
I haven't tinkered much with the settings because I like them the way they are, except for the blue glow of course. I haven't noticed this before, and the monitor is only 1 year old. I am hoping it is only the light reflecting back onto the monitor from the lip edges of the monitor case since the screen is recessed about 1/2 inch. If that is all it is, is there any way to reduce the glow besides turning down brightness?
