Yes it will. We have many mac users using this monitor. You will need to get a mini-display port adapter to either DVI (better) or VGA. You should have got a mini-display port to VGA when you bought your laptop. If you don't have one, you can get one from your local electronics store or from the Apple store.

You will also need a VGA cable (included with your monitor) or a DVI cable (depending on which mini-display port adapter you have). These are also available online or in most electronics stores.

This monitor doesn't have the standard VESA mount on the back. You'll need to return the monitor and buy one that does have it on the back.

Unfortunately, you can make this a touchscreen. If your looking for a touchscreen, you have to order a specific screen that does touch screen. There is quite a bit of electronics behind a touchscreen that have to be added to detect the finger.

If you do get a touch screen, make sure to get a 'multi-touch' screen. This will allow you to use more then just one finger when hitting buttons or typing on it.

You have two options:

1. go to your local electronics store and get a universal power supply that can handle at least 2.14Amps at 14V. The important items is the voltage, make sure it outputs 14V.
2. Create a support ticket with samsung and ask to purchase a new one. They should be able to sell you one or tell you where to order an original one.

It sounds like it is a problem with the monitor. You could probably still return it to the store you bought it at for an exchange on the same day. Otherwise contact support and they will send you the information to return it. I did this for a different model and the turn around time was just a couple of days.
