The monitor should be plug and play. If you're having a problem with it, please contact us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, or if you want to come through a social media channel, we have a couple options for you:

I would like to program the monitor so when I turn the computer on, the monitor comes on and when I shut down the computer the monitor turns off.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.
Your monitor would go into standby if connected via VGA cable, but if you're connected via DVI or HDMI, it won't work. We know of no way to completely power off the monitor with manually tapping the power key/button on the monitor itself.

How do i add the service to my account i made?
I have a service repair on the S20B300B and the confirmation number for the service part is 4115629845. How can i put that under my account i created on samsung.com?
Can samsung support move the service track into my account? It is a new power supply for my monitor.
