Water/Ice Dispenser selector

The selector/paddle for the Ice/Water dispenser has become very 'sticky' and it takes some work to select between either ice/ice type and water. It feels stuck. Is there something that can be done to make it function properly again?

Question

Why is there water in the bottom on the refrigerator?

There is water collecting on the bottom of the fridge. We have put on a new filter and made sure that it is in the lock position. How do I cheek the lines to see of they are leaking? If they are where can I order parts from?

Question

Is there a replacement ice maker for this fridge

I am wondering if there is any replacement ice maker available for this refrigerator? I have had to have mine replaced three times and this one is starting to do the same thing. This is clearly a manufacturer defect or poor design. I am so sick of this thing dumping ice all over the place, freezing up, and crushing all of the ice.Is there anything I can do other than have it replaced with the same terrible ice dispensor again.

Question

The Fridge side is not cooling but the freezer works fine.

The fridge side is not cooling enough. The thermometer indicates 50-60 degrees Farenheit. I have tried to turn Cooling off (press Lighting and Freezer at the same time) but did not help. I have pressed Power Cool several times but still no change. I have turned off energy saver too. Please help.

My refrigerator side is not cool enough?

Please help me to fix the refrigerator side is not cooling enough its setting temperature. My freezer side is still in good working condition. I'd to know more about this problem and I'd like to troubleshoot myself first with your help. Please guide me through via email. I've tried myself, unplug power of this refrigerator, re set the temperature, set the temperature setting value of refrigerator side --- etc. I also cleaned the dust around the back of refrigerator by vacuum. The filter indicator will be Blue when you initially insert the water filter. The filter indicator will be purple when you have used your water filter for 5 months. The filter indicator will be Red when you have used your water filter for 6 months.

Why didn't "change filter light" go out after new filter installed?

Used correct SAMSUNG filter.
Turned main water off.
Installed water filter.
Turned water on.
No leaks.
Ran 3 gallons of water thru system.
Light remained on.

Hold the water select switch/button for 3 sec or until it resets. It is the button you push on ouside of the door to get the water to come out

Samsung Refigerator Filter (RS267TDRS)

Hi, the filter replace light on my fridge goes off pretty often considering there are only two people in my household and we drink water from it somewhat infrequently. Can you tell me specifically how the filter replace sensor works? Is it based on the time since the filter was last replaced rather than some scientific mechanism to evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of the filter?

To cancel Cooling Off mode, press the Lighting button and the Freezer button at the same time for 3 seconds until “Ding-dong” sounds.

Some other things to review include:

• Check that the power plug is properly connected.
• Is the temperature control on the display panel set to the correct temperature?
• Try setting it to a lower temperature.
• Is the refrigerator in direct sunlight or located too near a heat source?
• Is the back of the refrigerator too close to the wall and therefore keeping air from circulating?

How does the thaw setting suppose to work?

I put a roast in the thaw drawer and set it to 10hr. The next day the roast was still completely frozen. Are there some specifics as to how to use this function or should I schedule a service call?

You cant! This is the same on almost ever unit out there. There really is no reason to display the temp all the time. This will help your display to last longer.

I would suggest you try removing the filter then reinstalling it, making sure it is locked securely in place, then bleed air from the lines by dispensing 5-6 gallons of water.
