Question

Flow rate of water

It seems the flow rate of the water is very slow even though my water pressure is about 80 PSI. I have no problems with how fast the ice maker dispenses cubes, just how long it takes to get a glass of water. Would you please advise on how long it should take to fill a 16 oz glass with water?

At the recommended 20-125 psi water pressure, the RS267LASH should be able to fill a 16 oz. glass of water in approximately 30 seconds. If yours is not filling at that rate, I would suggest checking the water filter. If the filter is clogged or partially clogged, it will effect your flow rate.

Thank you for the question. It is normal for a fan to run intermittently and to shut off when the door is opened; the fan is part of the cooling system. It is often possible to reduce the sound level by adjusting the position of the refrigerator and making sure it is properly leveled. If the sound continues to get louder or if it changes, I would suggest calling 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help determine whether your refrigerator will require service.

I'm not sure from your question whether the RS267LASH is dispensing only crushed ice, the cubes are breaking as they're harvested into the ice bucket, or the icemaker is not making full-size cubes.

Try pressing the Test button on the side of the icemaker to reset it and ensure the tray is filling with the correct amount of water to make whole cubes. Setting the freezer at the recommended -2°F to -4°F should ensure the cubes are not breaking as they harvest as a result of the temperature being set too low.

If the issue is with the dispenser and only crushed ice is being dispensed even when cubed is selected, it may require service. Please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your RS267LASH. While it is sometimes normal for the fridge or freezer temperature lights to blink, such as if the doors have been left open, if this is happening for no apparent reason then it may indicate a need for service. When you unplug the refrigerator, any error codes or other history is cleared from the refrigerator's memory, so Samsung does not recommend doing this unless advised to do so by an authorized technician. Codes such as the one that is currently displayed are part of the internal diagnostic system that can help guide a qualified technician to identify the cause of an issue and find a solution. To initiate the service process, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you.

Question

Why has my digital display gone out?

I use this fridge as an spare in the garage. I went out yesterday and the digital display was blank except on small blinking digital line where a number should be. I've unplugged it for about 15 minutes and plugged it back in, but it still wont work. The fridge/freezer still works, but I have no idea what setting it is or if it can be adjusted.

Thank you for the question. Any instance of a product requiring repair can be assisted at the 800-SAMSUNG helpline. They would be able to confirm if there is additional assistance required inside, or outside the warranty for any product. It's not unusual for the temperature display to flash to indicate the temperature inside the compartments is measurably different from the set temperature, since this can happen as a result of the doors being left open or warm food being added, for example. However, if the display is flashing without explanation and the cooling system does not self-adjust, your RS267LASH may require service. Question

My refrigerator and freezer cool sometimes, and sometimes quit cooling.

For about a week the refrigerator wouldn't cool below 50 degrees, and the freezer was at 25 degrees. All of the sudden, it has started working at the temperatures it is set at. We have also noticed a noise when we open the refrigerator door. It is a fan type noise, and then it stops.

It is not unusual to have some cubes break when they are dispensed into the bucket. The recommended freezer temperature is -2°F to -4°F. If your freezer is set at a colder temperature than is recommended, then raising the temperature may help resolve this issue. I would also suggest pressing the "Test/Reset" button on the bottom of the icemaker to ensure the appropriate amount of water is being used to fill the tray. Please refer to page 28 of the User Manual for assistance with this procedure. The User Manual can be downloaded as a pdf file from this website for your convenience.
