I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. If the RS267LABP is not cooling and the display is reading "OF", then it is in demo mode, which can be corrected by pressing the Power Freeze and Freezer buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds until a chime sounds and the display changes to a numeric reading.

If the display is reading 52 degrees and is not responding to your efforts to change it, then your RS267LABP will require service. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

The digital controls on your RS267 are designed to blink when there is a difference between the set and actual temperatures. If the display is blinking, please check to see if the set temperature has been adjusted. It is not unusual for the temperature to vary on occasion, especially when the doors have been left open for loading groceries, or if warm food has been added to the refrigerator or freezer compartment. If the blinking continues for no apparent reason, and if the disparity between the set and actual temperature increases, your refrigerator may require service. Please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help determine whether service will be necessary.

To remove smells from the refrigerator, I would suggest emptying it of its contents, and removing the shelves and bins to wash them in warm soapy water. Wipe down the interior of the refrigerator with a soapy sponge or mild cleaner to remove any spills or food residue that could be causing the odor. Once the shelves are back in place, you could try placing a box of baking soda on a shelf to absorb odors, or check your local appliance or home improvement store for advice on other odor-absorbing products. If you cannot identify the source of the odor, it may be necessary to have a qualified technician help search the inside of the body of the refrigerator for the source of the odor. To locate an authorized service center in your area, please call 800-SAMSUNG.

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your RS267LABP. It is not unusual for the temperature display to blink if the doors have been open for an extended period, if warm food has been added, or if it has been unplugged. However, unplugging the refrigerator may clear any error codes and history from the refrigerator's memory, so Samsung does not recommend doing this unless advised to do so by an authorized technician. Please check to see if the refrigerator is in "Cooling Off" or "Demo" mode by pressing the Power Freeze and Freezer buttons simultaneously for several seconds until you hear a chime sound. If the compressor does not turn on and begin producing cold air within about 5 minutes, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you further.

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your RS267LABP. It may be necessary to bleed the air from the lines by pressing the dispenser lever for an extended period. Once water does start coming out, dispense 5-6 gallons of water to flush the lines. Check the fridge temperature; Samsung recommends setting it at 38°F. If the fridge is set too cold the water line could freeze; wait 24 hours after adjusting the temperature then try dispensing water again. If the problem persists, please submit your contact information to our support team through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

Some models require holding the Test button on the icemaker for about 8 seconds in order to execute the reset. You'll know it's working when the tray rotates to dump its contents, then returns to the upright position to fill with water. If this doesn't happen, make sure the icemaker is turned on via the control panel (Ice Off light should not be illuminated). Service may be necessary if you are unable to reset the icemaker using the Test button. Question

What is theproper replacement part for my ice maker?

I have purchased a replacement ice tray (part number PS4148655) for my Samsung RS267LABP according to parts information I could find online because the back pivot-point has broken.

The part sent is shorter and cant span the distance, and is one ice cube slot less, however no matter where I look I cant find an alternate part number.

Otherwise everything is fine but we are without ice and filtered water. Please help.

Question

Where can I buy the proper refrigerator filterfor my RS267LABP

The part # is DA29-00003B. I have replaced the filter several times during our ownership of this refrigerator. Now I can only find what is supposed to be a replacement -DA29-00003G- which does not fit. The original, (3B), has slots at the bottom of the neck. The "replacement" has small holes on the base of the neck. And I repeat, it does not fit. It goes into the opening but will not turn the quarter turn to seal. What can we do?

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty replacing the filter in your RS267LABP. The DA29-00003G is in fact the correct replacement filter despite the fact that the top of it looks slightly different than the previous model DA29-00003B. Please try turning off the water valve to the refrigerator; this can reduce the pressure in the lines and make it easier to turn the filter to lock it in place. If this does not resolve the issue for you, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you further.

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your RS267LABP. If there is ice in the tray, but it is not harvesting, please try pressing the Test button on the icemaker (it may be necessary to press it for about 8 seconds) which should cause the tray to rotate and dump the ice then fill with water.

If the ice harvests but does not fill with water, make sure the icemaker is turned on, the water valve is on and the water line is not bent or kinked. If you recently changed the filter, you may need to dispense about 5-6 gallons of water to bleed air from the lines. If you have not changed the filter for a while, then it may be clogged or partially clogged and need to be replaced. After replacing, be sure to bleed the lines.

If the ice in the tray does not harvest after pressing the Test button, it may require service. Please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.
