Some noises the refrigerator makes are normal and can be minimized by properly leveling the refrigerator or making other minor adjustments; others may indicate a need for service. If your refrigerator is not hooked up to water, please turn the icemaker off on the control panel to prevent the noise that results from the icemaker attempting to draw water. It is also normal for the sound of ice dropping into the bucket to be audible, although the volume of this sound should decrease as the bucket fills.
