Question

My ice maker is faulty!

My ice maker is faulty, how can I incress the production to keep the bucket stocked?
We may have four glasses of ice a day tops! It is currently absolutly empty until the darn thing decides it wants to dump 8 cubes here and there it will continue to be empty. This is ridiculous! I've read countless reviews on the ice makers in Samsung fridges being faulty or failing all together. HELP!!

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the icemaker. Customers often find that if they lower the temperature of the refrigerator or select Power Freeze, this can help to increase the ice production. In some cases, ice can pile up under the sensor arm, causing it to remain in the "up" position which tells the icemaker the bucket is full. This would cause the icemaker to cease production. I would suggest resetting the icemaker, checking the water supply and water filter to ensure a lack of sufficient water is not the culprit, and lowering your freezer temperature/using Power Freeze.
