Your fan is probably broken. All of my frozen food had to be thrown out. I had to unplug my fridge because the back wall was blazing hot. Have been waiting for the repair for a month and a half.

It's not unusual for the walls of the refrigerator and freezer or the front edge of the divider between the two compartments to feel hot on occasion due to the location of the defrost heaters. However, if these areas feel excessively hot, to the point of being uncomfortable to touch, it may require service. Please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Please refer to the FAQ page regarding sounds the refrigerator may make and why, which you can access by clicking on this link: http://ars.samsung.com/customer/usa...

From your description, the noise you're hearing is most likely the beeping caused by the refrigerator sensing the door is open. Please try the tips found on the above page. If the problem persists and you're confident the door is closed and the seal is clean, please contact 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you.

Thanks for the question,

There is no way to turn the freezer "off" without also turning the refrigerator off. To remove ice build-up, try raising the temperature by setting the freezer control at only one "bar", then open the door to help speed the defrosting. Use a towel to wipe away the frost and ice, then remove the icebucket to remove any ice build up there. Before replacing the bucket, check the feeler arm under the icemaker to ensure it can move freely. If it is stuck in either the 'up' or the 'down' position, it may be necessary to contact service since trying to force it could damage the mechanism. If it moves freely, reduce the freezer temperature to 3 "bars", press the Test button on the icemaker which should cause the tray to rotate then fill with water (be sure to have a container under it to catch any water that spills when it rotates). Then replace the bucket securely so it locks in place. Pressing the Power Freeze button can help to speed up the icemaking process.

If the door alarm on your RS2530 continues to beep despite the doors closing and sealing properly, I would suggest checking the connection of the wiring harness under the door hinge covers. Please refer to pages 19-20 of the User Manual, which can be downloaded as a pdf file from this website for your convenience. If this does not help you resolve the issue, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you further.
