Check if you have he most recent software update. Software updates can be downloaded through the S/W Update option on the Settings menu.

Would't it be more convenience if you use a tablet so that you can carry it around and watch anytime any where rather than standing infront of the door to watch it?

It's not unusual for ice dropping into an empty bucket to make some noise, so I would suggest allowing the ice to pile up in the bucket to help buffer the sound of the ice dropping. Another option would be to turn the icemaker off during the time of day or night when the noise is most audible.

I'm sorry to hear your ice tastes bad. If the refrigerator is still new, it can take a while for the taste from the water lines or new filter to dissipate. Samsung recommends flushing the system by dispensing about 5-6 gallons of water and the first few batches of ice. Washing the ice bucket prior to use can also help.

Samsung refrigerators are designed to lean back slightly to help the doors close more easily but the interior of the unit should be level. You can check that by placing a level inside of the refrigerator. The front legs can be adjusted to help level the refrigerator, if necessary, but it should not be adjusted more than the leveling legs will allow.

The flex zone has 4 settings only that are set by pressing the Temperature button on the door next to the 4 modes.

They retracted that version with 2.508 because that Grocery Manager didn't seem to work. The bad news is, they broke Twitter on me. I can't do a login with my valid credentials.

Thank you for the question. It's likely that your RF4289 is still operating on the earlier software version 2.214. The newer version 2.320 is available via WiFi upgrade. A software upgrade icon should show up on the upper right corner of your control panel display as long as you're connected to a wireless network. Click the icon to upgrade the software, then reboot the refrigerator by unplugging/replugging it or turn the circuit breaker off then on again if the outlet is difficult to reach. After rebooting, you may need to manually reconnect to your home's wirelss network if it does not do so automatically. A time zone setting screen should then pop up, prompting you to change the time zone.

Yes, the Flex Zone Drawer does extend as far as the main freezer drawer, but there may be some resistance at first. Pull it out firmly as far as the freezer drawer opens; once the rails are well lubricated it should open more easily.

At this point in time the Apps that come pre-installed on the RF4289 are the only ones that are available, and are ideally suited for the kitchen: search for recipes on Epicurious or view photos from a memory card or your online Picasa photo album; check the day's weather through WeatherBug, the latest news headlines on AP News, or your family's schedule from Google Calendar; follow your favorites on Twitter or listen to them on Pandora Radio; and leave notes and reminders for yourself or your family with the Memo feature. I can't tell you whether the selection will be expanded in the future, but if it is, instructions for adding them will be made available.

The ability of the WiFi in the RF4289HARS to work in a built in cabinet depends in large part to the strength of the wireless signal, the distance from the refrigerator and the number and types of obstacles (e.g., walls, doors, etc.) that are between the access point and the refrigerator. The icemaker in the RF4289 refrigerator is designed to produce approximately 7.5 pounds of ice per day under ideal conditions, and the ice bin can hold about 4.6 pounds. If the ice bin is full, the icemaker will stop making ice until ice is dispensed or transferred to an alternate container that some people like to keep in the freezer.
