The only way to actually turn the power to your RF4289HARS off is to unplug it, but Samsung does not recommend doing this if you're experiencing problems with the cooling or have an error code displayed because it may erase helpful service information from the memory. The RF4289HARS like most Samsung refrigerators is equipped with a "Cooling Off" mode which maintains power to the lighting and display but turns the cooling system off. This is primarily for use on store displays, though you will find this option included in the Settings menu of your RF4289HARS.
If you'd like to reboot the display, there is a recessed button under the control panel that can be pressed with an object such as a paper clip. For more information, please click on this link to view a short how-to video: http://support-us.samsung.com/spsn/...
