After 5 months, it is possible that your water filter is clogged or partially clogged and needs to be replaced. Be sure to dispense 5-6 gallons of water after replacing the filter to bleed air from the lines. If this does not correct the issue, try the following:
- Make sure the water filter is installed correctly with the indicators aligned.
- Make sure the water valve is turned on all the way and there are no bends or kinks in the lines that could be obstructing the flow.
- Make sure the Water function is selected by pressing the Ice/Water button.
- Try raising the refrigerator temperature if it is set below the recommended 38°F. If the refrigerator is too cold, it could cause the water reservoir to freeze.
