I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. The vertical hinged section between the doors can be replaced if broken. I would suggest contacting 800-SAMSUNG to determine if this is covered under warranty.

If it is not covered under warranty, you can visit SamsungParts.com or call 800-627-4368 for information and availability of the part. Instructions for removing this part for replacement are as follows:
1. Open the left side door.
2. Locate and remove the 2 screw covers located on the center of the flap.
3. Remove both screws.
4. Pull up on flap assembly to remove from the door.
5. Disconnect electrical connection.

The RF26XAEBP uses a cartridge water filter that is certified by the NSF (part #DA97-06317A; replacement model #DA29-00003G). For details about the certification, please refer to pages 36-37 of the User Manual which can be downloaded by clicking here: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/d...

The factors that can prevent the water dispenser from working properly would usually affect the icemaker as well. I would suggest reading through the Troubleshooting Guide by opening the following link, then selecting Water And Ice > Water to read the relevant article: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

Is it possible that the icemaker appears to be working but is actually not making new ice and is only dispensing ice that was already made? If so, please try the solutions offered in the Troubleshooting Guide. If these solutions do not correct the problem, then your refrigerator may require service. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

Question

Samsung RF26x-flap between french doors top post piece that attaches to door came off and I cannot slide the piece back over the square part on the do

I see the top and bottom posts have a plastic part below it on the flapper piece, that can make the piece move up, but I cannot get the smaller piece off below the middle post. Is there a trick, because I am starting to mark the piece up.

It's not unusual to hear the ice dropping, and the volume of this sound is likely to be louder when the bucket is empty. As the bucket fills, new cubes don't need to drop as far, and they're dropping onto other cubes rather than onto the plastic bucket, so there is less noise. If this noise is more disturbing to you at particular times of the day or night, I would suggest turning the ice maker off by pressing the Ice Off button on the control panel during those times. Be sure to turn the icemaker back on again, however, so you have a supply of ice when you need it.

I'm sorry to hear your crushed ice is not working. Sometimes ice can buildup inside the icemaker preventing ice from being crushed. Please visit the Troubleshooting Guide through the following link, then select "Water And Ice" > "Ice" > "Ice Maker Is Dispensing The Wrong Type Of Ice": http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

This article illustrates how to check for ice buildup, which may allow you to correct the problem yourself. If this does not fix the problem, your RF26XAEBP may require service. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

If the water is not dispensing but ice is still being produced, please check the water line connection to the door dispenser that runs under the left door hinge cover, as illustrated on page 13 of the User Manual. Since you recently changed the water filter, you may need to bleed the air from the line by pressing the lever for an extended period. Be sure to press the Ice/Water button on the control panel until the Water icon is illuminated. Once water starts coming out, dispense 5-6 gallons to bleed all the air from the lines.

If this does not resolve the issue, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you further.

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with the water dispenser on your RF26XAEBP. There are several factors that could effect the water dispenser's operation; please check the following:
- Is the supplied water pressure at the recommended 20-125 psi?
- Is the water valve turned on all the way and the water line free of bends or kinks that could obstruct the flow?
- Is the water filter cartridge installed correctly, with the lock indicator marks aligned? If the filter was recently replaced, try bleeding air from the lines.
- Is the water function selected on the control panel?
- Is Child Lock engaged? If so, deactivate it by pressing the Ice Off/Lock button for 3 seconds.
- Are the fridge and freezer set to the recommended 38°F and -2°F, respectively? If the temperatures are set too low, the water line could freeze.
- Check the water line and wiring under left door hinge cover to make sure it is properly connected. Refer to the User Manual for instructions on Removing/Reattaching refrigerator doors.

After checking all of the above, if the water still will not dispense, it is possible that your filter is clogged or partially clogged. Try removing the filter temporarily to see if the water will dispense. It may be necessary to press the lever for an extended period to bleed air from the lines. If the water dispenses without a filter installed, you'll need to replace the cartridge with a new one. If water still won't dispense, your refrigerator may require service. Please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you further.

Water condensing under the Cool Select Pantry Drawer occasionally and over time may be the result of normal condensation due to the higher humidity of the Twin Cooling system, or if it's accumulating rapidly it could be an indication of a leak that may require service to repair. Try wiping up the water and waiting 24 hours. If water has accumulated there again by the next day, your refrigerator will likely require service.
