I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. Under normal conditions, a 170 cc (5.75 oz.) cup should fill in about 10 seconds. If yours is running very slowly, following are the items you should check:
1. Is your household water pressure the recommended 20~125 psi (pound per square inch)?
2. Is the water valve turned on the whole way?
3. Is the water line bent or kinked?
4. Did you bleed the air from the lines after replacing the water filter?
5. Does the cup fill at the appropriate rate when the water filter is removed? If so, then the water filter may not have been installed properly, or it may be clogged, and needs to be replaced.

I hope this check list helps to resolve the issue. If not, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you further.

I'm sorry to hear your RF26V is not making ice. There are several factors that can effect the ability of the icemaker to function properly, including:
- Is the temperature cold enough? Samsung recommends setting the freezer at -2°F.
- Is the icemaker turned off? The icemaker can be turned on or off by pressing the Ice Off button on the control panel. Make sure the Ice Off icon is not illuminated on the display.
- Is the feeler arm that hangs under the icemaker stuck in the "up" position, which would indicate to the icemaker that the bucket is full and to stop making ice?
- Is the water connected, the valve turned on and hoses unkinked and free of obstruction?
- Is the refrigerator set at the recommended 38°F? If the refrigerator is too cold, the water line could freeze.
- Is the water filter installed properly and locked in place? If the filter is clogged or partially clogged, it may need to be replaced.
- Did you bleed the air from the lines by dispensing 6 gallons of water from the dispenser since installing or replacing the filter?
- Did you press the Test/Reset button on the icemaker?

If, after checking each of these suggestions, the icemaker still isn't functioning properly, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you.

Thanks for the question. To turn the icemaker back on, press the Ice Off button again. If you hold that same button for 3 or more seconds, you'll engage the Child Lock, so be sure the Child Lock is not engaged when trying to turn the icemaker back on; the padlock icon would be displayed if the controls were locked. If the icemaker does not fill with water automatically, press the Test button on the side of the icemaker, which should cause the tray to rotate and fill with water. If it does not, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you further.

answer 1
If your RF26VABWP is not connected to a water supply, turning the icemaker off should stop the clicking noise. If it is connected to water but is not making ice, please check the following:
- Is the water supply valve turned on and hoses unkinked and free of obstruction?
- Is your home's water pressure between 20~125 psi? Under normal conditions, a 5.75 oz. glass can be filled in about 10 seconds.
- Is the refrigerator set at the recommended 38°F? If the refrigerator is too cold, the water lines could freeze.
- Is the freezer temperature cold enough? Samsung recommends setting the freezer at -2°F.
- Is the icemaker turned on? Make sure the Ice Off icon is not illuminated on the display.
- Is the feeler arm under the icemaker stuck in the "up" position, which would signal to the icemaker that the bucket is full and to stop making ice.
- Is the control panel locked, which could prevent the dispenser from operating?
- Is the water filter installed properly and locked in place?
- Did you bleed the air from the lines by dispensing 5-6 gallons of water from the dispenser since installing or replacing the filter?
- Did you press the Test button on the icemaker to reset it?

If none of the above suggestions helps to resolve the issue, and the ice tray does not fill with water, try removing the water filter temporarily and press the test button on the icemaker again. If the tray fills without a filter installed, then the cartridge is likely clogged or partially clogged and should be replaced. The filter should be replaced about every 6 months based on average usage, but it could become clogged sooner if there are a lot of impurities in the water supply.

If, after checking each of these suggestions, the icemaker still isn't functioning properly, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you.

Instructions for removing/replacing the refrigerator door handles on the RF26VABWP can be found by clicking on the link below then selecting "Usage ► > How To ► > How To Remove The Refrigerator Door Handles": http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

Samsung does not recommend removing the EZ Open Handle on the freezer drawer due to the complexity of the mechanism and difficulty of replacing it correctly. It is advisable to remove the drawer front instead, if necessary.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. It's not unusual for a small amount of crushed ice to dispense when cubed is selected, particularly if crushed ice had been selected previously. However, if your RF26VABWP is consistently dispensing the wrong type of ice, or if it mixes the two, please click on the link below then select "Troubleshooting ► > Water And Ice ► > Ice ► > Ice Maker Is Dispensing The Wrong Type Of Ice" for troubleshooting assistance: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...
