If the noise associated with the icemaker filling with water varies significantly, it's possible there is air in the lines or variations in the water pressure that affect the pump's ability to draw water. Check the water valve to make sure it's turned on all the way and the lines are not bent or kinked; check the water filter to make sure it's installed properly, then dispense 5-6 gallons of water to make sure there are no air pockets in the lines. Press the Test button on the side of the icemaker which should cause the tray to rotate and dump the ice then fill with water. If the issue persists, consider changing the water filter which can also influence the water pressure. Samsung recommends changing the filter every 6 months, but it may need to be changed more frequently in homes with higher than average water use or a high level of impurities in the water supply. It may also help to confirm that your home's water pressure is at the recommended 20-125 psi. At this pressure, a 6 ounce cup should fill in about 10 seconds.

The filter Indicator light in your RF267AERS is designed to remain on, but change color from Blue when you initially insert or replace the water filter and reset the light, to Light Pink when you have used your water filter for 5 months. The light should turn Red after about 6 months, indicating it is time to change it again.

Please keep in mind that Samsung recommends leaving approximately 2" above and behind the refrigerator, and 1-2" on the sides, to allow sufficient air circulation for the cooling system to work properly. This will also help to reduce energy consumption.
