I'm sorry to hear your icemaker is not making ice. It isn't clear from your question whether water is coming out of the dispenser inside the refrigerator either. In either case, you may need to bleed air from the lines, which should be done each time the filter is replaced. To bleed the air, dispense about 5-6 gallons of water into a container, then press the Test button on the icemaker again. The tray should rotate to dump its contents into the bucket then fill with water. Some models require holding the button for as much as 8 seconds to initiate this process.
Other factors that can affect ice production include:
- Is the refrigerator set at the recommended 38°F? If the refrigerator is too cold, the water lines could freeze.
- Is the freezer temperature cold enough? Samsung recommends setting the freezer at -2°F.
- Is the feeler arm under the icemaker stuck in the "up" position, which would signal to the icemaker that the bucket is full and to stop making ice.
