Frost in the freezer results from the moisture in warmer air condensing on the cold surfaces in the freezer. While a small amount can be normal if the freezer drawer is opened frequently and in very warm, humid environments, excessive frost can be caused by either the drawer not closing properly or by inadequate ventilation. Please click on the following troubleshooting link, then click on "Troubleshooting ► Freezer ► Frost in the Freezer": http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

Samsung refrigerators use cartridge type water filters which should be replaced approximately every 6 months. Water filter model #DA29-00003B, and the newer #DA29-00003G version, are both compatible with the RF266ABPN. Please visit samsungparts.com or call 800-627-4368 for pricing and availability. This replacement filter is also available through most major retailers who carry Samsung refrigerators.

The RF266ABPN is not currently available in cabinet depth dimensions, and I cannot tell you if and when that may change. Samsung's 36" wide cabinet depth French Doors are currently available only with ice and water on the door, and in stainless steel, as model numbers RFG237AARS and RFG238AARS.

The 68-5/8" is the height from the ground to the top of the cabinet behind the hinges, so it includes the wheels and front leveling legs.

Thank you for the question. While there is no temperature control for the dispensed water on the RF266ABPN, the water should be cool, but not ice cold. If the water is not cool, you may have used up the water in the refrigerator's reservoir, which holds about two liters of water.

I would suggest waiting 24 hours before dispensing water. If it still isn't cold, then your refrigerator may require service. Please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

There are several differences between real stainless steel and Samsung's Stainless Platinum. The key difference that many people note is that real stainless steel is usually not magnetic, so if you like to hang photos and kids' artwork on your refrigerator, you might want to choose our "Stainless Platinum" because it is magnetic. Also, Stainless Platinum is fingerprint-resistant and very easy to care for. The Stainless Platinum, which has a protective coating over the painted finish, is similar in durability to our White and Black finishes.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. Since there is nothing within the refrigerator itself that should be causing an odor, I would suggest using an odor-absorbing substance such as baking soda to try to rid your refrigerator of the odor. If this does not resolve the issue, then you could contact 800-SAMSUNG to discuss the service options that are available to you.

I'm sorry to hear this water level sensor cover has come off of the icemaker. If the cover has come off, it's likely the sensor itself has moved out of place, as well, which would explain why the tray is overfilling and freezing a block of ice rather than cubes. I would suggest having a technician repair this for you. I would suggest following the instructions below for removing this hinged flap (which I think is the part you're referring to), then try reinstalling it. If you are unable to reinstall the flap, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help determine whether service is necessary or if a new piece will need to be ordered and installed by you.

Instructions to remove and reinstall the hinged flap:
1. Open the left side door.
2. Locate and remove the two screw covers on the center of the flap.
3. Remove both screws.
4. Pull up on the flap assembly to remove it from the door.
5. Disconnect the electrical connection.
6. Reverse the removal procedure for installation.

I'm sorry to hear your RF266ABPN icemaker is not making ice. There are several factors that can effect the ability of an icemaker to produce ice, including water supply, freezer and refrigerator temperatures, and control panel functions. Please check the following to try to resolve the issue:
- Is the water connected, the valve turned on and hoses unkinked and free of obstruction?
- Is your home's water pressure between 20~125 psi? Under normal conditions, a 5.75 oz. glass can be filled in about 10 seconds.
- Is the refrigerator set at the recommended 38°F? If the refrigerator is too cold, the water lines could freeze.
- Is the freezer temperature cold enough? Samsung recommends setting the freezer at -2°F.
- Is the icemaker turned off? The icemaker can be turned on or off by pressing the Ice Off button on the control panel. Make sure the Ice Off icon is not illuminated on the display.
- Is the feeler arm under the icemaker stuck in the "up" position, which would signal to the icemaker that the bucket is full and to stop making ice.
- Is the water filter installed properly and locked in place?
- Did you bleed the air from the lines by dispensing 6 gallons of water from the dispenser since installing or replacing the filter?
- Did you press the Test/Reset button on the icemaker?
- If all of the above options do not resolve the issue, and the ice tray does not fill with water, try removing the water filter temporarily and press the test button on the icemaker again. If the tray fills without a filter installed, then the cartridge is likely clogged or partially clogged and should be replaced.

If, after checking each of these suggestions, the icemaker still isn't functioning properly, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you.

At the recommended 20-125 psi water pressure, a 6 oz glass of water should dispense in about 10 seconds. If yours is slower than this, please check to make sure the water valve is turned on all the way and the lines are free of bends or kinks that could obstruct flow. Try bleeding air from the lines by dispensing 5-6 gallons of water. If the water is still slow to dispense, and replacing the filter last time resolved the issue, then it is possible the filter is becoming clogged prematurely and will need to be replaced again. The filter usually needs to be replaced after about 6 months, but can become clogged sooner if your home's water supply has a high level of impurities. If this is the case, I would suggest contacting a plumber for advice.

If there is water coming into the refrigerator (meaning, your dispenser is functioning properly) but the ice tray is not filling, it may be due to insufficient water pressure or a partially clogged filter, or it may require service to repair. Please check the following:
- Is the icemaker turned on? Make sure the Ice Off icon is not illuminated on the display.
- Is your home's water pressure between 20~125 psi? Under normal conditions, a 5.75 oz. glass can be filled in about 10 seconds.
- Did you bleed the air from the lines by dispensing 5-6 gallons of water from the dispenser since installing or replacing the filter?

If none of the above suggestions helps to resolve the issue, and the ice tray still does not fill with water, try removing the water filter temporarily and press the test button on the icemaker again. If the tray fills without a filter installed, then the cartridge is likely clogged or partially clogged and should be replaced. The filter should be replaced about every 6 months based on average usage, but it could become clogged sooner if there are a lot of impurities in the water supply.

If, after checking each of these suggestions, the icemaker still isn't functioning properly, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you.

I'm sorry to hear you have an error code displayed on your RF266ABPN. These codes are part of an internal diagnostic system that will help guide a qualified technician to identify the cause of an issue and find a solution. When you unplug the refrigerator, the error codes and other history is cleared from the refrigerator's memory, so Samsung does not recommend doing this unless advised to do so by an authorized technician. Some noises the refrigerator makes are normal and can be minimized by properly leveling the refrigerator or making other minor adjustments; others may indicate a need for service. First, please adjust the refrigerator temperature to the recommended 38°F, if necessary, to determine whether the ice is a result of normal condensation freezing, and make sure there are no packages blocking the vents.

Next, I would suggest you visit the Troubleshooting Guide through the link below, then select "Troubleshooting ► Noise/Vibration" for assistance determining whether the noise you're hearing is normal or may require service: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...
