Our water dispenser broke in the on position. Look under the blue pad. The white "button" is probably cracked up where it is attached to the plastic. We had water issues too at first but I blamed the kids. Get it out before it gets stuck in the on position.

Water can pool on the bottom of the refrigerator, under the vegetable compartment, due to condensation caused by doors being left open too long, for example. Please review the troubleshooting tips offered through this link: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

If, after reviewing these points, you continue to experience this issue, please contact Samsung for service either by submitting an online service request form through the troubleshooting page above, or by calling 800-SAMSUNG.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your RF266 icemaker. I would recommend having a qualified service technician fix the part that appears to be broken.

There are a number of factors that could cause the icemaker to produce ice slowly. I would start by checking the water supply valve to make sure it is on all the way and make sure there are no bends or kinks in the water line that could be obstructing the flow. Next, check the water filter to make sure it is installed properly and locked in place. It may be necessary to replace the water filter cartridge if it is clogged or partially clogged. Press the test button on the bottom of the icemaker. Referring to page 18 of the User Manual, determine whether the water level in the ice tray is too low, which could be an indication of low water pressure in your home rather than an improperly functioning icemaker. This would help to explain the small ice cubes. You can download a copy of the User Manual from this website.

In addition to low water pressure, please check the freezer temperature to make sure it is cold enough to freeze the water to make cubes in a reasonable period of time (generally 1-2 hours per cycle). Samsung recommends setting the freezer temperature to -2°F. Selecting the Power Freeze option on the control panel can also help to speed up production. Keep in mind that opening the drawer or adding warmer items to the freezer can raise the compartment's temperature and slow the freezing process.

For assistance locating a service center in your area, and for additional support for your icemaker if the issues persist, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to help you further.

Thank you for the question. Samsung recommends setting the refrigerator temperature at 38°F, which should help to prevent the water tank from freezing. If the water is not dispensing in your RF266AASH, I would also suggest checking the following:
- Is the supplied water pressure at the recommended 20-125 psi?
- Is the water valve turned on all the way?
- Is the water filter cartridge installed correctly, with the lock indicator marks aligned? If the filter was recently replaced, there may be air in the lines, which could require you to hold the dispenser pad in for longer than usual to bleed the air from the lines.

After checking all of the above, if the water still will not dispense, it is possible that your filter is clogged or partially clogged. Try removing the filter temporarily to see if the water will dispense. Again, it may be necessary to press the lever for an extended period to bleed air from the lines. If the water dispenses without a filter installed, you'll need to replace the cartridge with a new one. If water still won't dispense, your refrigerator may require service. Please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you further.

I'm sorry to hear you have an error code displayed on your RF266AASH. These codes are part of an internal diagnostic system that will help guide a qualified technician to identify the cause of an issue and find a solution. When you unplug the refrigerator, the error codes and other history is cleared from the refrigerator's memory, so Samsung does not recommend doing this unless advised to do so by an authorized technician. To initiate the service process, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you.

Thank you for the question. The water from the dispenser should be cool, but not ice cold. If the water is not cool, you may have used up the water in the refrigerator's reservoir, which holds about two liters of water.

I would suggest waiting 24 hours before dispensing water. If it still isn't cold, then your refrigerator may require service. Please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

The cooling system in the RF266 is designed to run as much as it needs to in order to maintain the set temperatures. Opening the door, adding warmer food and selecting the Power Freeze or Power Cool settings are some of the factors that can cause the compressor to work harder. Please also make sure the refrigerator has enough air circulation around it, and is leveled properly to enable the doors and drawer to seal to help ensure efficient operation.

Thanks for the question. "Cracking" noises are usually caused by temperature changes which make the plastic expand and contract. Common causes include:
- Frequently opened doors
- Automatic defrost mode
- Ice harvest

Try turning the energy saver on. When the energy saver function is off, there are heating coils in the doors that are designed to remove condensation from the doors.
