Yes, you can. Certain USB key boards and mice should work. The information I have scrounged to find, says certain ones won't work, some will. So I guess it will be a hit or miss thing. I don't really know, I just ordered the t.v and in my prep for it, I too am searching for the solution ahead of time. But anyways, that is all I could find out, as of now.

I had a screen prompt to register the tv with pandora and enter the provided code. Add a device to your account basicly. Once done and I could remember the correct password there were all my stations.

Since you're having issues with these 2 specific apps, I'm assuming your connection to the internet itself is working. My first guess is that while you're Blu-ray player has been connected to your Pandora and Netflix accounts, you still have to separately connect the TV to your accounts as well.

Wireless USB keyboard / mouse and the Samsung PN51E550?

I just bought a Samsung PN51E550. It looks like it accepts bluetooth keyboards (I don't own one), but I'm curious whether the USB slots on the TV can be used for a wireless USB keyboard and mouse. I have a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo and I would love to use it with the TV. I'm a little nervous about causing problems if I plug them into the TV and they start trying to install device drivers that the TV does not want to accept.

Is this safe to try? Will it work?

I use a wireless mouse I that was previously used with a laptop. Logitech brand. Has a USB thingy that I plugged into the TV and it works fine. I was going nuts using the remote, went to Best Buy and they directed me to the computer dept saying "any USB should work"...
I came home and tried what I had and like I said the mouse works great.
Oh I have a keyboard with a USB connector. That works too.

on DirecTV menu select format on remote to scroll to resolution of choice. Lights on front of receiver will cgange.
To change menu on DirecTV, go to Menu->Settings->Display->TV Resolution check only those you want.

Not common. Factory warranty or store replacement. Take photo of dead pixel. don't take No for an answer. You'll have this hi-res for a while.

Smart Hub

I live in Guam (Navy) and recently purchased the 550 series Plasma TV for features including the Smart Hub. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the Smart Hub to work since hooking it up. Is my living in Guam preventing normal function of this application?
I have an older (2010 model) Samsung DVD player that I've had here for just under a year and the Netflix app works fine on it, but I can't seem to do anything in the Smart Hub on the new TV.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are some un protected routers in the neighborhood and I CAN connect to them but I CAN'T connect to my router ???

Works with LED ES6500 and UP & LED EH5300 Series and up.
PDP E550 Series and up.

Since your TV is not one of these models, it is safe to assume that the keyboard would not compatible with your TV.

Question

Apps (Neflix and Pandora) and Firmware?

Just got a brand new samsung 51"plasma 3D tv. Basically been nothing but a headache. Where to start...

Netlix will not load, tells me to got to Netflix help (nothing there to solve the issue). Pandora shows a network error.

Just want to throw out the fact, these are the apps I would like to use most.

Finally, try to update firmware... and low and behold, the TV cannot find the firmware . Internet says the version is 1019. The TV did an update to 1016 via the internet, however, it now says there are not further updates, BUT Samsung says there is version 1019 available, which I downloaded and did EXACTLY what the instructions said but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am SEVERELY disappointed in my new Samsung TV. Ready to start leaving negative feedback all over the net.

Question

Any thoughts on clicking or popping sounds coming from the back of my Samsung?

I'm getting an intermitant popping / clicking sound from the back of my Samsung PN51E550D1FXZA while the TV is operating. The sound dosen't affect normal audio or visual operation (yet). I've tried changing various cables and rebooting DVR, TV, etc. Any thoughts?

can I use my BEATS bluetooth headset

We have a BEATS AUDIO bluetooth headset hooked up to our I POD and it works fine. I would like to use it with our tv as my wife is hearing impaired but she hears fine with the headset on. She misses alot of the dialogue without closed captioning and this would improve her listening experience. Is there some way to pair up with my Samsung plasma? thank you

Question

Is my TV compatible with HBOGo?

It was in my apps today so I downloaded it and it gives me the catalogue of movies and series with photos and all. When I click play, it plays the HBOGo Logo and sound and then lists the shows rating and content (violence, language, nudity, etc.), but after that it freezes up and I get and error message stating "PLEASE NOTE: We're sorry, but this video cannot be played at this time". I've tried over and over with different movies and series and I get the same thing every time.

Why browser closes every few minutes?

Hi, I just bought this tv and connected it to Internet. While playing some online videos using browser it closes for no reason and pops up a message asking me if I would like to restore the last session or go to home page. No matter what I select it always go to home page.
